Lawlessness, my ass. By that logic door locks also enable lawlessness, the
government can't just go into my house anymore, i could cook drugs or
butcher little children there. Cops can't just go into my house, why should
they be able to go into my phone or computer anytime they want?
If a police officer comes up and knocks on your door and sees you commit a crime, he does have the right to kick in your door and arrest you. He probably wouldn't for something minor, but if he sees you hacking up human beings then he would.
Please discuss VESA's implementation of Adaptive Sync in their DisplayPort
1.2a update, in relation to G-Sync in general. How does one make use of
Adaptive Sync? There are G-Sync capable monitors, but are those the same or
different from G-sync capable displays? I was led to believe there was a
war brewing between the two for a new standard, like HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray.. I
may be mistaken, can anyone clarify?
+Robbedem Thank you kindly for clarification. Been reading up on this topic on some various comments sections elsewhere & feel I have an adequate grasp of the current situation. G-Sync is indeed here, now.. But that ROG Swift monitor among others sure are hard to afford or even come by as they sell out quickly(Kind of like the 980's which have been on a limited auto-reply, 50-200 stock at a time, release). With such things, like the Xbox One & PS4, I find it often best to wait a year after the dust has settled to make an informed decision LMAO Thanks again Robbedem ^_*
why is it that i cant do one 10MB/s down but i can do 5 2MB/s down even tho
speed test says i get 20MB/s and i paying for up to 40MB/s at $200 a month
in a only time warner area and its not the router i pluged pc to modem
bypassing the router and i know steam can do more that 2mb/s and i try
origin and a few other things no one thing can download ever go faster than
5mb/s and i paying for the second highest plan there is this sucks i have
to leave my pc on over night to download a game from steam
Just because you have 20mb/s, doesn't mean where you're downloading from, can upload you 20MB/s.I'm pretty sure your familiar with those fileshare sites, that have a subscription. If you're a free user, they limit you to ridiculously small speeds that are just under a megabyte. That's what happens. Many places aren't going to feel the need to send you so much data at a given time.Steam has many users they need to send to. So you're not often going to get 10-20MB/s downloads. Here's where your 20mb/s should help you. You can download from Steam, Origin, and stream on Netflix, all at the same time. Since they all wont up that 20mb/s you should be having from your service provider. I have about 125mb/s. So there can be people downloading, streaming, and even playing games. All at the same time, with no loss in performance from any of them.
Its rather a out dated and flawed law if you think about it even playing a song on a computer you "copy" it temporarily in to ram or processing memory so its about time it was updated.
