Great tutorial, have play store working on my HD7... Now I have followed this video again to get Play Store on my HD8.9 without success...System Ver: 8.5.1 According to RootChecker app it's rooted... First three apk files dowload/install properly, I rebooted after install. Downloaded Vending.apk & try to paste into system app folder but get "Copy Task failed" I have the 2 root mounts set to RW... Any suggestions on something I may have missed

+Daniel Rocha You need to delete the some of the unused APK's. There isn't enough space in that section of memory. Try deleting Office.apk (I think).

That means you are not rooted. Maybe you system updated and you didn't realize. Amazon OS updates automatically without even giving you option.

I updated google play services and the google play store suddenly stopped working on my kindle fire hd, if you know how to fix this problem please make a video on showing how to fix it because i don't have access to the play store now that I've updated the google play services app, my kindle fire hd is rooted but the google play store suddenly just stopped working.

Updating Google Play Store is not a problem. But you can't update Play services. Just re-install the older version of Play Services that was there before.

People comparing the Kindle Fire with an Android Tablet confuse people that don't know much about the KF and what an Android Tablet is. The Kindle Fire is a very nice device that provides you with everything you need to have a very enjoyable tablet experience without much hassles. Play Videos, Read Books, Listen to Music, Do some browsing play or use some apps. Everything within the amazon app store. The nexus 7 is a full android tablet, much like a big android phone without the dialing app.

I really did not say a bad joke for it I only super wiped my phone and flashed the fucking cayanogen mod 10 for a test and then phone was booting i was happy yayayya then it stucked at the boot animation and reboots so i pulled the battrey and boom phone won,t boot no hboot nothing :( I don,t know what was the problem and when i connect it it says QHSUSB_DLOAD driver not installed after some searches i found out that it is the god damn qualcomm processor,,,so am i talking to the processor

Hi Zedomax So it is me again the bricked evo 3d guy :( So it has been a lot since my phone is bricked and ignored on the shelf But to day i was googling And i saw your method of downgrading hboot of cdma 1.50 to 1.40 on htc evo hacks and after lots of reading i saw that you had to enter the QHSUSB_DLOAD Which it my problem then you said it is ready to flash hboot!!!! using emmc_recovery So iam downloading the files and i will re install linux as my secondary OS cuz i have deleted it

The guy said he root,install roms,unlock s-off all of these shit and he also said he Unbrick!!!! So i think i will give it a shot and the best part he said it will cost 20 dhs!!!!! 20 aed means 5.45 USD!!!!! so maybe i hope i Really don,t like to fail in something i have dualbooted my computer just to get linux fully installed and finally device not detected and the biggest thing is that I DON,T HAVE ANY CLUE HOW DA HELL I BRICKED IT!!!! for real

It's not really android we know and love. It's nothing like googles android. It's actually a competitor to Google android. It's a closed system. You shouldn't be recommending this as a Android tablet. It has no Play store, a lot of android apps don't work on it, no widgets, no google now, no animated wallpapers and from reviews I've seen it's very sluggish.

I think the Kindle has GREAT specs but..... It is NOT a TRUE Android experience like the Nexus 7 and I don't think it will ever get the support by devs unless Amazon does not chain down it's bootloader (which they will)... Just my opinion...

well majority of kindle customers are still non-rooters, Amazon will still make billions. But for us rooters, it's like we got a huge discount on a great tablet. Just buy the hardware and put CM10 on it if you don't like Amazon OS.

Dual S4 is a bit slower I would say 20-30% than Tegra 3, Tegra 3 is much better but you will not notice difference. But Kindle Fire doesn't have S4 btw, it's a TI OMAP 4470 for the 8.9inch, which should be just as fast as Tegra 3.

i know 4g lte won,t work cuz emmc_recover will or panda thing it will flash a different boot loader and iam gsm bought at middle easy CID:HTC__J15 My problemo is i can,t detect my evo in the brickdetec.sh script :(
