Hey! So, I know this was aimed towards a side scroller/platformer but I am doing a Top - Down view. Should this work the same for it? I ask as trying to do this will simply keep the same size in game and just create an ugly gray bar instead of resizeing the sprites to needed resolution. Any help?

hi,No, this is not meant for side scroll platform game, it's for every type of games, the logic behind this is just resizing the canvas of the view, nothing else is resized, so if you have a small room and use a view which is bigger than your room, surly you will get black bars around the window, top down games usually are in big rooms, so I don't think that you will have any problem, and it's impossible to have black bars in this method I used in the tut, unless you have a small room, and you are using a bigger view.

should I get this or the new jxd s7300. I already have a nexus 7 so maybe a tablet doesn't make sense. Bigger screen is nice for the tablet version though.

I have an Xperia Play and I have had it for like 2 years and I'm looking to upgrade my phone but I only want a phone that has gaming buttons, is this the right way to go? Are the N64 games much faster than the ones on the Xperia Play and can I tether my phone? Also I have Verizon and my store has nothing but phones without gamepad buttons so what do I do?

I really like this device. Don't have anything bad 2say about it. Finding a H+ signal tho is almost impossible but the 3g worx just as well.
