Greatest Nunchuck Lesson Ever Las Vegas Nunchucks lesson 1 The Basics
This nunchaku lessons video is for the absolute beginners who want to learn how to use nunchucks, with some intermeadiate techniques thrown in to show the ...
If you use Chucks the right way, the swivel would break within minutes of
your workout. But since you have only fancy turns and figure 8s, their is
no power strikes, snaps and blocking, techniques for breaking bones, I
could never use these, because of the true nature of using a chuck and the
fancy swings have no application in real use, other than to just look good
in transitions. Click it snap it, use it for blocks and strikes, the ball
bearing would last about a minute. Even the chain would break using them
the way I have taught chuck my whole life. If you don't hear them crack
pop, whip tear and snap, you are not using chucks. Bow
i dont see you with any lame videos and if you were so worldly you wouldnt made the comment you made so it tells me right away your a fake with no skills. and your call of duty combat experience doesnt campare what ive been through boy, so dont compare you dont know me and never will
+Edward Pizzo Yea, 45 years is very little time to know anything LOLOLO, I fought battles you would piss your pants in. Your combat is not even what combat is, It's Guns Bombs and men of war. If you seen my chucks compared to your baby tooth picks, yea they pop snap rip and break bones right now, no fancy trash like what you claim is combat. O Using chucks, I have only used them for over 45 years my friend and you can keep swinging them, I USE Them and teach how to USE them. and I never once said chucks were for combat. What? you probably have no Martial skills, just your stupid statements and combat skills like we witness here, LMAO same old fighters every place on this internet trash, lol
+KidsKicksforChrist FIRST lets correct your statement if you knew how to use chucks you would know control and shouldn't break the swivel ever. SECOND This is freestyle and has no combat techniques being taught here. so while people like you with very little to no experience have zero clue what an actual fight would consist of in a battle with nunchucks once again your statement is so far from the truth its comical to those of us who have actually been there. Ive been using nunchucks for over 45 years i first picked them up to learn coordination at the age of 4 at the age of 12 i was taught combat and learned most of what i know about fighting on the streets in real fights. so in real life there is no pop no snap because once you break the chain or swivel you would be dead in a real fight. so before you act really cool and start posting shit because you think you know something dont until you try it for yourself. if you have you would never make such a stupid statement in your life. you have can never learn recovery or endurance without freestyle so if i was betting man which im not id put my money on a freestylist before your combat skills any day of the week.
I thought I had the basics somewhat down for a kid who occasionally got to play with these and only knew the figure 8 and over the shoulder. But as soon I started practicing the left hand circles while moving my right hand around; it was like I'd never touched nunchucks before in my life LOL day 2 and its starting to get more confortable. Thanks again, look forward to more vids
Sounds awesome, going to try that one out as well, I use to do that when I was training on Krav Maga and Jiu Jitsu a few years ago :)Again, thank you for your replays!
when yo get a chance post a video of yourself or at least keep a record of yourself to show improvement over time then you can look back at what you have accomplished. just when you think your getting good you look back and say wow i was really bad back then. at least i always did
+American Dragon REMEMBER this isn't a race to learn as quickly as you can but a lifetime of learning. now that you have the basic fundamentals in place you can now start to learn and feel what its like and to understand whats happening as you start to feel the movements as if they were as natural as picking up a fork and eating with it.start to understand the spiritual nature of whats happening it will take years to fully understand what im asking you to do this part can not be learned overnight. start feeling the flow of whats going on around you to help you with the next stage go some place private by yourself bring a loud radio with some of you favorite adrenaline pumping music separate the music into groups that are hard and pumping than the next song should be steady and level so that your muscles can recover no stopping you must be swinging continuously during this routine. try to avg about 45 minutes of constant swinging minimally and build your routines up to 2hrs if possible. so having a good variety of music that you love helps. everyone is different when it comes to hair raising themed songs so make sure you have a few songs that really get you into that trance. once you have that down you are well on your way to level 3 freestyle
+eugene bell It takes blood sweat and tears to master most things. Its normal that it will hit you a lot. Try gymnastics or skating. You hurt yourself A LOT while learning those things to.It just takes effort. And.. pain xD
It's his mannerisms and his analytical breakdown of something physical. I get the same vibe, but I think that's the nature of a tutorial that seems 100% content based meaning it lacks individual personality.
Ha, it is martial art. Maybe not hand to hand, but it is defiantly not a flail. It has a pattern, hard for people like you, because you don't know what to look for. But it has a pattern and technique.
Been using nunchuku for about a year, been a karateka for over 20 years,
and this is what is known as tricking. it looks cool but that's about it.
they should be held 2-4 fingers from base of stick for range and power, not
near the chain or rope. each swing should come from the hip and the arm
should be extended.
+will rogers also a better guard would be to hold both sticks at the base in front like a boxing or karate guard

Finishing the first 30 minute segment. You want to rock the chucks, you must learn hand rolls! This video is an important stepping stone for so many more ...
I have been trying to practise this but I'm having trouble. Whenever I try
and roll it I end up with the chain in my hand. I swear I'm not reaching
for it, looking at my pair of chucks I've noticed that the length of the
chain on mine means it wraps completely around my hand :/
Any suggestions?
+UberLolFace Your chain might be too long! You can find a friend (or if you have one) with a pair of bolt cutters and remove two chains. THen go to the hardware store and buy a 99 cent quick link to reconnect them!
+408glife Yeah it was part of a longer series (my beginner 30 minute videos). I cut them up to make them better digestable!

@33fgfhjjggy6y and MrEffectfilms. It all depends on your definition of
"god". for example, if you think "god" is what makes you slip on a banna
peel for no reason, then god may also be called bad luck if "god" is what
gives you guidence, then god may also be called your brain, your consience,
or the person standing behind you telling you what to do Nobody can
understand why or how the world was created.. I pity the fool who belives
in 1 thing only.. the truth lies in things we cant comprehend
@akitoheart Nope. It's the religion. Notice the symbol behind him? it's a
cross, with the motto "be more than a conqueror". It's a large organization
with many schools. Unfortunately, they are awfully soft because instead of
teaching to win, they preach about being safe and not hurting the other
person. I'm with American Top Team, and the last time there was a NAGA
tournament where guys from this school showed up, they didn't win a single
match.
@mattjew619 Yeah, cuz it's not like the christians went to the middle east
and slaughtered entire cities, including women and children just because
the people they were killing weren't christian... While the evil enemy
muslims actually treated prisoners of war and helped the christians to
finally re-learn medial knowledge they burned away from the ancient
world... No, that never happened... Oh, wait...
Great video, thanks! I've seen the hand flipover and i though it looked
like catching it in mid air, but just switching the wrist seems doable..
Quick question, correct me if 'm wrong, when you get to the 'flow' part,
the flipping around the back looks like a c-shape instead of a loop,
correct? it goes up and then down but no loop. I think if I loop it I would
hit myself (?) need to try it... thanks!
Don't understand infinity? It's like the figure 8 that's sideways: ∞ Did
you watch the video? Jk But for reals, In the beginning there was nothing,
No Earth, no you, no me, Just a void with a God Who existed in 3 Created
Heaven and Earth from nothin' One God, no discussion, Try and create
somethin' from nothin' If you think I'm bluffin' :D (PRo - God) (It's a
song, look it up) :D
@romanowskis1at its like saying that apropriate blade length for knife is
4inches. open your mind. u dont have to do things like some cool japanesse
conservative told u to. longer rope is better for speed strikes. shorter
for tricks and maybe blocking. at least in my experience. although palm
width thing is good TIP for beggining.
@thehalflifedude If someone tries to attack me, the last thing I'm worried
about is if they get hurt, or even survive. It's how the world works. I'm
US Army Infantry and a semipro fighter. There is no reason to show mercy in
self defense- the other person won't show it to you, and being soft like
that is what gets you killed.
@MrEffectfilms hahahahah atheism is probably the most logical thing you can
be, i think it's rather stupid to believe something that there are no
actual prof of, and buddhism is at least about the search for inner peace
and i would not say no to that :P
@KidTech101 Yeah, you have a point there, except for the fact that
"nunchaku" is a japanese word, and not an english one. And I'm pretty sure
the japanese don't just add an S to the end of most of their words to make
them plural... So You're wrong
this aint real nunjakus...The chain is supposed to be as long as your hand
and you to carve wood to get more accurate grip. I don't know if we are
talking about the same kind of weapon but this looks like a silly peace of
wood you toss around...
????? Are you saying that Nunchakus are not weapons? I can't tell because
you're grammar education is appalling. Anyways, if that IS what you're
saying then your wrong. If you're going to reply back make sure i can READ
the comment. :P
Gee, before you make a turial. First learn it by yourself. U make a power
swing.. When u move to the other side of your body u hold it to long. The
speed must come from the technique and not from the power in your arm. :-)
you guys do know that he's probrably talking about the school. The school's
name is Christian. not the religion. the name of a boy type of christian.
it was probrably named after the person who founded it. leave him alone.
I really like this video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You are good.
I made a 3 minute Bruce Lee tribute video. If possible, please check it
out. It's video#22 Thanks for posting this, maurice
man just gimme a .45 but ill give you a thumbs up just cause the
instruction is basic and clear and despite the jabbers I got no doubt that
basic technique would be quite effective in a fight
@Marco89Antonio jajajaja yo se manejar nunchakus y palo largo y la cadena
de los nunchakus tiene que ser del tama;o de la mano cerrada y a este gordo
hpta no le caben ni tres dedos jajaja
Once you get hit by one of those things, you'll know it isn't as easy as it
looks. For starters don't do it by your face or head, because if one of
those ends hit you, it's lights out.
@Ben1987X You have to be semi retarded to hit yourself in the balls with
these. Normal places to hit yourself is the side of the head the elbows the
fingers the hips and the knees.
Figure 8 wrist rolls! Figure 8 wrist rolls! Figure 8 wrist rolls! What is the most important video of today? Figure 8 wrist rolls! ;) Practice this move often, grasshoppa.
This is arguably the best, most complex vid ever.should have been titled
'advanced nun chucko... I just stared nunchuk-ing today but this vid gives
me an even higher standard than Bruce Lee...
Hey, Ken. I'm assuming your chucks in this are foam, and if they are they
are exactly like mine. Does the chain hurt you when it passes over your
hand mid-wrist roll? Or more of the knuckle actually cos it really hurts
me. Any suggestions?
