i have same hardware but in different box, square one by OTT. Mine's 16GB version all this 4K support is B$. On the box it even says hevc / .265 support however it doesn't play 4K files with these extensions properly, works only when you install MX player and that too in s/w mode in slow motion (2 to 3 fps). Only files it plays smoothly is .mp4. Paid good 90$ and doesn't do what it says. I'd advise not to go for this if you want 4K support. Even in xmbc default 13.3 and also custom xmbc which states it support 4k but same issue. Slow motion playing of .265 or .Ts. Even installed Rom from other devices and still doesn't play. My antutu score was 34K. Can you show it playing 4K .265 .TS .hevc files ? If it does than i'm willing to try ROM from this device.

I've just got this box few days ago. It is working good except for few problems unless you do not care nor needed them. (1) The total system memory [RAM] had only 1600mb [1.6gb] NOT 2000mb [2gb]. (2) The Wifi & bluetooth conflict: If bluetooth function is "enable" during wifi is on then wifi speed will be reduce to half, example: your wifi regular speed is 20mb/s then it will be 10mb/s. (3) The HDMI work great but the AV composite Video output IS TERRIBLE, the tv screen look fuzzy and has almost no colors, static lines moving about, screen is not read/watchable. Despite of the above problems, it still had better hardware specs and performance comparing to the "G-Box Midnight MX2" which had cost me $100. This box is only $110 but without XBMC pre-installed and It is very easy to learn how though. I am just stating this box facts so consumer would know exactly of what they will be getting.
