my baby feeds 95% from the right boob , one because he lays in the middle
of the bed and its easier to turn to that side and now he has become used
to it so when hes really fussy and hungry he'll only eat from that side.
otherwise he'll feed on the leftside for a couple minutes then back to the
right. i hope it doesnt hurt in the longrun (breast cancer) also the nipple
on the right is lighter and i feel that breast hangs down lower.
Thank you. I meant since breastfeeding is show to reduce the risk for breast cancer and since im not using that breast as much it would be really bad if i get it on the one breast for lack of using it to breastfeed.
I've never heard of this contributing to breast cancer but you should even this out as soon as possible, you want them to be eating as evenly as possible between the two breasts. Try to start offering him the left breast when he's really hungry and sticking to that even when he gets fussy. xo M
With both my babies, I almost always nursed from one side. Sometimes in the
evening when my supply seemed to be at its lowest point and my babies were
having a big feeding before bed, I nursed on both sides. Unless I was
engorged or trying to stock pile frozen milk, I did not see a need to pump
it as my body adjusted to my one side feedings. It is common for babies to
want to frequently feed at times due to growth or whatever. However, Cloud
Mom's advice about burping was a tip that I can strongly agree with. I did
not take burping seriously with my first and when I did with my second, I
had a much happier baby. Could be coincidence, but that burp break really
seemed to help my baby.
Great vidoe Mama...but one thing can you clarifty, as you are playing with
the kid while breast feeding my pullling he breast out of the baby will he
bite you hard no your nipple not to loose it...
