This not no damn painless procedure, I just had this procedure done on my
left eye last weekend my eye was killing me for 5 days and I'm getting my
right eye done this Friday

+john smith yeah :) my doctor told me it hurt so much because the holes and tears was large and on a nerve I couldn't see out of my left eye or even opened it for 3 days but my right eye didn't hurt so much like my left eye did like I thought it would, but it did sting I was happy it wasn't on a nerve like my left eye, Things will get better for you

+Desire Marie My work was done elsewhere and I agree. Had this done on my left eye yesterday. Retinal tear. Technician poured a numbing liquid into my eye. I thought someone had just poured a jar of jalapeno juice into my eye. It burned tremendously and that lasted for several hours. The light is blinding(no pun intended). You are blind in the treated eye for about 10 mins. following this procedure. The following day the floaties and blurry vision are back.Not impressed. Hopefully things will get better.
