I think it is right we should make cuts - Labour created too much of a
'soft-society' over the past 13 years, where people just expected the
government to prop them up whenever they had a problem - what happened to
that wonderful captitalist world of people working hard to earn a living,
in turn helping others and society! We simply can't afford to pay for
everyone to live, and even if we could, it still isn't necessarily the
government's responsibility! That's my view anyway....

cant count with my fingers how many people live off benefits. single mum
benefits for the kids housing benefits boyfriend living in claiming Job
seekers Pet feeding benefits pretend that takes care of grandmother
benefits tax credit benefits Council tax benefit Doctor/dentist/medicine
for free benefits and those are the ones i can think off. Im sure they have
tons more as they live a great life and i work my ass off and have none to
spend.

privatise the nhs to bring nhs down, reduce the defence budget to a
minimum, tax the rich one off to reduce or eliminate the the debt of 1.3
trillion, have a much much higher bank levy and people out of the benefits.
Just no more benefits unless you very ill or disabled. The end. Regulate
the banks and financial institutions well and get back to the gold
standard/ Austrian economics way of doing things and this country will be
better off.

it has to make sense, people who work should be rewarded, benifits
shouldn't pay more than paid employment. but wasn't it a tory government
who dreamed up this benifits system to massage unemployment figures
downwards? jobolwphoto puts things in perpective. read his comment below.
