Racism is still alive and it's upsetting! Couldn't help but vent a little bit after being blatantly disrespected just because of our different skin colours! Join our ...
its soo saddening and disheartening that this had to happen, all you you an
do is pray for such people.Curt i understand your frustration bruh let's
just hope this mentality does not pass on to the younger generation cause
that would be really tragic
+Curt and Thamz true! true! and with people like you and thamz who seem like genuine and nice people,i have hope for our future generation.Have a nice day
ill informed people will always be the stumble of the progressive society,
forgive them . slowly but surely they'll understand LOVE BEYOND Physical
appearance .
I love you guys, you're a perfect example of true love. Do not bother
yourself about those racists and haters of progress, they do not want to
leave the past behind, which implies that they cannot progress. Both of you
shows maturity and sense of progress by coming together as one regardless
of race. This is what is going on here in the United States, people are
moving forward leaving the past behind them, whites and blacks are getting
married to each other which is not a cup of tea of anybody. Don't get me
wrong, there are still racists here, but younger generations are looking
beyond the past. What really matter is that both of you love each other,
and color should not be a barrier to love or to success or to whatever good
things you set your minds on, I will advice you to brush it off and keep
moving on. I love you guys, you are an inspiration to younger generations.
Agreed! People from the past live and remember the experiences that shaped their outlook on life, whether good or bad. it is indeed up to us as the younger generation to shape our outlook by the qualities of peoples personalities and character and not their physical appearance etc.
Hello Curt and Thamz!
I stumbled up on you videos on you tube and just wanted to say thank you
for sharing your lives with the world .You are too cute
Its people like you who makes South Africa live up to its motto "live with
possibility".
I loved each and every video. The one video with racism. Offended/
saddened me to realized that people in 2014 still speak/ treat you the way
they did. ( I also experience something similar in 2009 back in PTA )
I am South African living in Mexico with my German fiancé.
I salute you , because love knows no color. Take care of each and enjoy
this beautiful thing called love.
PS you are too cute . May the almighty always protect you.
Please continue vlogging.
Xoxo
From Mexico
+Joyce Mnguni thank you Joyce! It is the support we get from each person who watches our videos that make us keep vlogging so we mosdef will continue! Thank you (and each person that watches our videos and supports us) for inspiring us as well.On the racism thing - it happens and is upsetting but won't stop us being who we are and shouldn't stop you either!
omw Im sooo pissed ryt nw hey...yoh, Curt is super angry hey, Im actually
disappointed tlheng. nare didn't utata Mandela leave any legacy 4 us South
Africans.its nogal nt evn any1s business who any1 is in relation wth, nxla
#pissedblkSouthAfrican
It is upsetting but each of us must just make the conscious effort to live the legacy of what people like Mandela fought and were prepared to die for (and in some cases did)...That will be the thing that slowly but surely makes our country a better place to live in...
Sorry this happened. I've experienced it over and over in SA, and elsewhere
in the world even here in the UK, people are ignorant and refuse what they
simply don't understand. it takes maturity and we all know that's not
common. Also its sad that its almost like a disease spreading from parent
teaching their children and perpetuating it. It should be of the past yet
in 2014 its alive and kicking. SMH.Sorry, brush it off and stay strong. xxx
miss you
Coulnt agree with you more...it does take maturity and a different type of mindset to not accept the status quo or accept what your parents teach you as "right" when it comes to something as baseless as how you should be treated because of a skin color! But ja it's not going to just go away and is something that just needs to be dealt with though... thanks for the support though!! :-)
5 Comebacks For Your Racist Relative During The Holidays

Yes chescaleigh, " To love and respect everyone. " like you said.
I am so happy to have found the perfect person (you ) who can tell me
everything I need to know about life here on Earth.
I can't imagine how mind blowing your going to be if you live to be old.
We humans can devise wonderful plans but the ' Human Factor ' in us all will screw things up every time. Open the history books, look at our families that love one another but fight like cats&dogs over anything petty. We do still need to try and live in peace with one another. "Bless us all, every one! "
I was very shocked when my Grandfather told me not to marry a black woman
because he didn't want "ugly black grandchildren". I broke contact with him
anyway because he's a horrible racist and his side of the family is fucked
up either way. Plus I'm gay lol. Anyway having to find out he was such a
horrible person like that was a traumatic fucking experience. Plus
blackness is beautiful.
+Michael Bagouty Nah reading the comments is what's funny. I just started watching her videos. She's alright.1. If you don't like her videos, stop watching them.2. Telling her she's not funny is just encouraging her to make her videos. So yeah, you pretty much did the opposite of what you intended lol
+Jade Chan Aww.someone without a sense of humor. Go look at some real comedy. Real world comedy probably offends you. Boo-Hoo. You are only stuck with lame as Franchesca. Telling you what and what not to do. Like get your relatives angry during the holidays.
What about the one where you just realize they are a product of their
environment. Silence is usually the best thing to do. Going out on a limb
to look like a dick makes you no better, tbh.
+chescaleigh we simply have two different ways of looking at it, I believe in the way of silence and moving on when things are said that I don't agree with. You would rather direct attention to it, calling the person out. Either way, one is a bit more peaceful than the other one, which is what we all aim for at a family gathering. We aren't trying to create tense moments, at least I'm not. Either way, I'll just agree to disagree. I'll let my grandparents slide when they say something stupid over a couple glasses of wine. I'll let them know afterwards that I didn't appreciate it and why, but to call out the person in the moment is not what I would do.
+DJ AnDrawD this video isn't about "ending world racism" but small incremental changes can help influence bigger changes. even so, asserting yourself isn't always about educating the other person and instead standing up for your beliefs and showing people what is and isn't acceptable around you. the same way you might avoid cursing at work or around your parents, there's nothing wrong with encouraging people to be mindful of what they say in your presence. i also don't believe "old dogs can't learn new tricks" people have the ability to change but that takes challenging them and educating them instead of being passive and just accepting the terrible things they say and do. strange that you think a comeback is "nasty" as opposed to taking issue with...the racist comment to begin with.
+chescaleigh I guess all I'm saying is that throwing nasty comebacks to your racist father in law isn't going to end world racism. Nor will it change his morals, it will just reaffirm them. Old dogs can't learn new tricks.
+DJ AnDrawD being a product of your environment doesn't absolve you of upholding oppressive ideas. People should be willing to grow and change. How you're raised or what you're exposed to through childhood doesn't have to define you forever.

Amazing how so many blacks go out of their way to be accepted and loved by
white people. It kinda shows that blacks really think of themselves as less
and think that whites are the gods on earth. I hear blacks complain when
whites wont let them into their world(businesses, award shows, etc.) Im
like, "build your own and stop lusting after whites"! Look at all the black
women and their hair! Even some black men too. At some point in their
lives, all blacks (mostly black women) have spent major money to destroy or
hide the natural texture of their hair, to look more european. No other
race of people on this earth does that to themselves to look like someone
else. Why desire to be like someone who has been die hard on destroying
your race in every way? Only BLACKS are that blind. If i was from
outer-space and had just arrived on this earth, i would think that blacks
had done whites wrong all their lives and now they are trying to show how
sorry they are by praising them. Its insanity! What do we call a woman
thats been abused by a man, but she keeps running back and begging him to
love her??
gloria- if a person or a people are truly sorry for their actions, they would show u they are sorry by not only their words, but by their actions as well. The victim(s) should not carry the role of the offender(s)... its simple and plain common sense. And this way of thinking is active and considered normal 24/7, in every other situation, unless its a black person thinking this way toward a white(s)... Then, it becomes idiotic or wrong. Only normal people think like me.
+khadeeja Eulitt yup yup hun! i understand ur concern with studying in the US. if u do go i jus hope everything goes well with u... honestly. Do ur BEST. I know lots of jamaicans who attend/ed colleges in US n they do well n come baq, most of them. Jus keep safe, come out on top n pray if u decide to go.
Yesss...now I am reconsidering my plans to attend college in the US. Jamaica is not a rich country but we are loving people...and I will put love and happiness over money any day.
DL - Are American Teenagers Racist/Prejudice In Today's Modern Multi-Cultural Society??
In this experiment we witness random kids who are challenged by their peers as they exhibit open racist attitudes towards other people and whether or not they ...
it can be , most of the times middle easterns and south asians are the target of religious prejudice regardless of what there actual religious affiliation is. There are plenty of white, black, and etc Muslims but they aren't usually called terrorists and so forth.
Most discrimination in school is done against whites (in diverse schools).
We live in such an anti white society these days. No one's there to defend
the white kids. Only the dumbest people will dispute this.
+Cryptaris Protocol Racism and zenophbia has always been a problem in America and we shouldn't ignore that. If you don't want people to bitch about it maybe you should be more active in trying rectify it. You can't just pretend like 400+ years of extreme racism and subjugation didn't happen and then expect that group to be fully assimilated. That is ludicrous.
+Noelle Crowner Yeah well it looks like you do know and I'm sorry for accusing you that you didn't.Also moderate internationalists? They are extreme progressives who can't find a reasonable argument as to why we necessarily need to do these things, the only thing they give is feelings as an actual valid reason as to why such programs or actions should happen or exist.A nation is better off with less government intervention and social policies and more freedoms and encouragement of individualism. As long as these said individuals are taught to take serious responsibility for themselves and not bitch that all their problems are due to another group, race or whatever which you see prevalent in todays youth.
+Cryptaris Protocol Those things are definitely problems that I detest. Muslim men come from a rape culture and view non-Muslims as non-human. What the government has allowed to happen there is too far on the liberal spectrum just like the Saudi Arabian government is too far on the conservative right wing spectrum. US liberalism is not that extreme. In fact US liberals are more likely international moderates.
+Noelle Crowner No lets just ignore the 800,000+ migrants entering Sweden and Switzerland, let's ignore that these aren't refugees, let's ignore that Sweden is the largest rape capital of Europe and it is mostly due to the minority migrants, let's fucking ignore that Sweden and Switzerland is suffering from a housing crisis.Their standards of living is endangered and it has been reported their education rating will decline severely due to these things. So much for “great standard of living” I can tell you have zero is not little amount of knowledge of the Scandinavia states if you think they're all well and good.
+Balsac Teabaghar it takes a pretty low IQ to be liberal..... in all honesty. Although they might be trying to help on the surface, they don't look at the big picture. Therefore, they end up destroying everything.
While I don't doubt that whites can be victims of racism especially if they are a minority in their environment but to say that America is Anti- white is ridiculous.

Thank you for uploading this experience. My husband is white and I'm mixed
and there are definitely times when people give us the racist stare down.
Luckily, we recently moved to California and I feel as if it's a Mecca for
interracial couples lol.
I'm Muslim and I've had so many racist experiences a lot of them aren't
something directly said its the way the other person makes you feel
sometimes when you come across them the way their behaviour is so closed
and makes you feel before even speaking you've done something wrong
I'm a student but also work retail and I defo hve come across lovely people but I get them other type who jus make you feel shitty regardless of how nice I try to be but I jus keep pushing more they try making me feel inferior the nicer I be
well I live in Texas and we got Hispanic Africans Asians all sorts of
people and we don't see that stuff like that you see different people every
day and I've never had a racist moment like that.
I'm a native Texan married to a Floridian ginger, and hunty, you're not quite up on all that transpires in the lone star state. My husband literally had enough of all the young and stupid black guys talking trash and picking fights, and after almost 8 years in Houston we've moved to his adopted home state of Kansas. Every black person I know, including my family were worried about me dealing with racism here, but apart from the occasional eye-guzzling of the chocolate, lol, everybody has been really chill. Check state stats about racist issues, crimes and deaths. The info is present, you just have to look. Most won't pay attention until something bad happens to them or a loved one.

new subscriber here,
this is an old vid - but nevertheless...
I am Indigenous Australian (now married to an Indigenous Canadian).
When I lived in Australia - one time on Australia Day there was a drunk
single white male arguing with some fellow Indigenous people and I
confronted him because he was saying racist stuff, I was pretty upset and
funnily enough I cried just because my heart was so in it and then he said
that he hated everybody equally. But the coolest thing was there was a
British family on the bus and they stood up for me and told him he was a
fucking arsehole.. So yeah that was my racist experience.
I hate when racists try and use phrases like "I hate everybody equally" to try and justify their racist comments. I'm sorry you went through that experience though, that guy sounds like a real loser. I'm glad their was some good people there who stood up for you too
