(REVIEW) If Loving You Is Wrong | Season 1: Ep. 3 | Alex Is Pregnant (RECAP)
TP is definitely on #TeamTooMuch with this series. A lot of the
interactions are totally unbelievable and unrealistic. Eddie is doing
wayyyyyyy too much. Randall is creepy. His wife is pathetic. I'm on the
fence about whether I'll keep watching. Your reviews are more interesting
than the actual show.
...i thought i was the only one! the visuals are nice, but the acting and situations are trash. most of it makes NO sense at all. idk what tyler is trying to do, but he isn't getting a pass from me for this one like he did for "the haves and the have nots." i'll continue to watch Ashley's reviews though. i agree. she is much more interesting.
Maybe if Esperanza was more serious about Julius it would be easier to take
his side and lookout for the good of her own life. I was just thrown off
cuz Julius talking about (in next episode's preview) "Does your daughter
know shes about to be fatherless?" Like are yal gonna kill this man or take
him out and make him leave town or get him fired or what. Esperanza is too
on the fence like she thinks Eddie can still be around, and not threaten
her anymore. Like no- hes obsessed & controlling! If hes around he wont
stop.
Ashley makin this show interesting cuz its boring as fuck. Now im a HAVE NOTS FAN and when newbies flocked to HAVENOTS for season 2 they didnt understand the hype. But what I can say for the HAVE NOTS is the premise and characters and storylines ALLLLL FIT AND MESHED AND WORKED. This show IF LOVING YOU....the storylines are old and stale, the players are boring, and they need to switch parts. For instance the adulterers should be the guy in Haiti and the girl who cant get preg. The crazy cop should be the blk guy whos cheating. And the clueless chick she should be the abused ex. Only storyline thats fresh is the lady who son in jail. That story needs more play and ACTUALLY Tyler shudda did this show but focused on PRISON. Thattttttttttttttttttt shitttt wudda been FYE!!!!!!! And u all know dat!
Randall is giving me stalker also, Tyler think he slick. He got us watching
Eddie and he low key sliding Randall into the crazy land. The chick that's
moving in next door, gets on my nerves, no one is that naive. I can't wait
to find out more about this Julius character, he's giving me mafia or
cartel connection tease.
Like u know eddy crazy from the beginning but Randall.... It's always the
quiet ones u gotta look out for. Good episode tho. When Alex was telling
telling Kelly abt it's best to always tell the truth. I was like bitch u
hvn a baby by a next man u always tell the truth.
Good epi, I like the series so far, imma keep watching the show & ur
reviews. Keep it up
I think i may stop watching after next week if I dont feel something for a character. Right now no one draws me in like that. The HAVE NOTS character they had u at least by episode 2. You just had to watch cuz the players were GOOOOOOOOOD in thier ROLES. And u just knew any moment sumn juicy was bout to happen and it DIDDDD. This show LOVING YOU IS WRONG. I doubt it can carry the torch while HAVE NOTS is on hiatus!

16 weeks Pregnant
This is my 16 week update...basically a recap of week 16 but mostly rambling. haha.
Those are super comfy pants but I have the same problem with wearing them
with regular shirts. The pants want to slide down but the tops want to ride
up. The pants that have normal fronts are very expensive though.
There are a lot of studies that show that crib bumpers are not safe even
though they come with the sets you buy. They are a sids risk. Just wanted
to share that so you can check into it.

Outlander To Ransom a Man's Soul Episode 16 Recap: My Outlander Purgatory Breaks It DOWN!!
Outlander To Ransom a Man's Soul Episode 16 recap! My Outlander Purgatory's Carol and Tracey take you through the final episode of season 1 of Outlander, ...
Actually, Tracey, as someone who's read the book recently, Jamie absolutely
acted like he'd lost his will to live at the abbey. He didn't want to die
or commit suicide but he absolutely acted like he had no reason to go on
whatsoever anymore till the hot springs scene. So Jamie wanting to die for
45 minutes to me is accurate and right out of the book. Just me though.
+My Outlander Purgatory This is somewhat off the point and not about the book or show but I wonder if TV Jamie was suffering from some type of clinical depression because regardless of what your religious beliefs are, depression sucks your soul and your will to live so bad even worrying about going to hell isn't enough when your brain keeps saying to kill yourself. Hmm. Like he wouldn't really have done it, but something inside him kept making him feel like he still wanted to.Agree that this few episodes isn't enough but I do have a minor gripe that on the whole, the first half of the season was paced too slowly and spent too much time on some scenes at the expense of moving the story along so they'd have more time to include more from the back half of the story. Again, just me though.
+ilurvemv Totally agree that he wanted to die -- the show did a great job of showing his despair -- but I think it leaned a little too close to "wanted to end his life" for me. What I as a viewer got from the show (and people may disagree) was that if there was a blade or whatever lying around, he would have used it, and that very much goes against both his Catholic beliefs and his feeling of "BJR is going to haunt me for the rest of my days, I'll be damned if he sends me to hell, too" attitude (not the exact words, but that's what he says to Claire at the Abbey). Also, it would have been more interesting to me to really see him slip deeper and deeper into despair. But obviously, with only 25 ish minutes to portray everything (after you subtract the BJR stuff), it wasn't going to happen. Sigh...what they really needed was a 20-episode season, LOL!
When I saw your break down of episode 15 I could not wait to see you break
down the finale. I expected more reaction from you two. I read the book
last year and love what they have done except for the "Search" I was like
what??? what a waste of an episode so then I am like the season finale has
to be 2 hours and when it wasn't I felt cheated. The acting and production
is outstanding but I could have lived without some of the violence. I feel
that they did not give enough attention to Claire a
+Michele Crane (T) I pounded the desk twice! How much more reaction do you want? ;-) Seriously, I agree with you. I'd give back the search and likely much more to get another hour to explore the repercussions of what happened for J/C.
I'm a non book reader, so I've got nothing to compare it to. However, I
have totally fallen in love with these characters through the TV show. I
felt that without a physical connection between Jamie and Claire(other than
that lame hug) in this last episode, left me totally unsatisfied. It felt
to me that Jamie was still in turmoil and really hasn't come back to
Claire. Made me wonder if things will ever get back to normal.....
So, I'm hooked now, and Am now reading Dragonfly inAmber!
Sorry Tracy you are not enjoying the show. Put the books away, I know that
you waited a long time for this and it's not what you wanted. Reading and
watching never.is the same.
+limeygal1 (T) Thems strong words there, Limeygal1!! :-) Never said I was not enjoying the show. I think the show is rather amazing--there were parts of this one that I had problems with given my book-reader experience--but they in no way lessen my admiration for or love of what Ron Moore and company have created. AND really really REALLY glad to hear that you as a non book reader are loving the show too!!
Jamie told us he branded himself. However; I saw Randall wanted Jamie to
brand himself over his heart but Jamie last bit of defiance was to brand
himself, but on a place of his choosing. I needed to see that.
As Alastair of Scot and the Sassenach pointed out, and Tracey, sometimes
the suggestion of violence as in a very brief flashback; of say rape,
speaks much more volumes of terror. I'm not sure we needed to see the
actual scenes of rape. I disagree regarding Jamie wanting to die. He was
refusing treatment and food before the "exorcism". I am not at a place to
quote the book, when I am I will, but I distinctly remember Jamie refusing
treatment, wanting to die. I think; all in all, the tv series has kept the
core of the story going. We cannot expect a literal translation of the
book to the screen. Tracey and Carole, love seeing your videos and seeing
your blog posts. Great job!
+marcyh17 Does he want to die or does he actually want to kill himself? Show Claire yells at him "murtagh said my husband wants to kill himself". I think in the book he did wish he was dead...but I got that he wanted to kill himself in the show.
+My Outlander Purgatory I totally agree with you. Did he want to die and wish he were dead, yes. His character would never contemplate suicide though. ...Randall damned me to hell on earth..I'll not let him to that to me in eternity. Not a direct quote, but Jamie says that. (yes I know in the book)
+Michelle Forbes (T) You're absolutely right in that in the book Jamie refused food, etc., and wanted to die-- but I think there's a big difference between "wanting to die" and "wanting to end your life." I thought the show veered a little too closely to the latter, which in my head is something that didn't mesh with the Jamie I know. That's why that scene with Willie just didn't sit well with me.
