Open octave midi is the flagship software for The Open Octave Project workfow pipeline. The music you hear was composed and written in Open Octave Midi, ...
But how to configure the program to make it sound?, When you import the
midi and give a play does not sound, what parameter must be played to
sound? Has he not already the default sounds? Of course, thanks salduso
Incidentally, this program promises as I have seen the coming developments
and apparently they are going to put a sheet music viewer embedded and will
give the possibility to import video and make it compatible with Windows
and OSX if it works it will be a great project regards
@GraysonPeddie the regular Sonatina Library will not work well with Open
Octave on Linux. It contains Windows only file paths. We corrected it in
The Open Octave version. If you use Open Octave Studio in the new beta you
can use it's downloader to pull the correct version and install to the
right place for oomidi to detect it.
May I please have an audio copy of this aong? I don't have to redownload
the song over 3G everytime I listen to the melody that touched my heart --
something I'll never forget.
@TheOpenOctaveProject Oh I was referring to @MaghoxFr but you're right. I
did use the downloader to download Sonatina and some other goodies like
acoustic guitar (sounds good).

Please contact your dealer in Mexico City. I payed for one of these a week
ago and they haven't shipped yet. Their customer service is a joke. ! I
guess I'll just keep waiting for my irig to arrive.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with a dealer. Please provide more specific details at //www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-us and the appropriate representative will check out your issue.
how would this connect to an imac? I've just ordered one for my ipad, but
i'm looking at getting an imac for other projects and using this, will it
work through USB 3?
Thanks for this video! Seriously looking into this; but I'm curious. What
if you wanted to play keys at both the lower and higher octaves? Could you
connect two iRigs together to create a full length keyboard? Or is there
another way that could work?
+Alyusia Rhidon You are very welcome. I look forward to you being able to make some music using our products. That is one of the best things about creating musical products for people to use to express creativity!
+ikmultimedia Brilliant, that's exactly what I need. I think I know what I'll be purchasing this week :D Thank-you for your fast responses and help once more. One last question, am I right in assuming I'd need to buy a separate sustain pedal? Just so I know!
+Alyusia Rhidon Yes, just configure whatever software you are using to the same MIDI channel as the controller(s). You can even control two different sounds, for example in SampleTank by doing that.
+ikmultimedia Thanks for replying so fast! So if I brought two iRig Keys controllers, and hooked them both up to a laptop, it would sense there were two in there and allow me to play one at the higher end of the keyboard and one at the lower end, therefore creating a full-sized keyboard? I completely understand that on the Ios device this wouldn't be possible, but it would be for a pc running windows?
+Alyusia Rhidon You would need to connect multiple iRig KEYS controllers to a device that will support them, like via USB into a computer. Then you could use both. However, with the direct connection to iOS devices, in that setup you can only physically connect one at a time.
You can use the upcoming iRig PowerBridge (you can preorder now) to charge your iOS device while using iRig KEYS and other iRig digital accessories: //www.irigpowerbridge.com
