They did.  I do remember the runaway boxcar episodes.  Also a guy that got shot.  Two others (a Russian boy that caught afire and a woman who fell 30 stories) I didn't catch how they ended.

The reason he died was because when the butane hit his lungs it ended up forcing the air up his throat and out his nose at this point the oxygen levels in his brain were switched with butane which killed the internal nerve system making him unable to move. The butane eventually took over all of his body causing his heart to stop and beat backwards removing his pulse and also making the heart suck in the blood causing the heart to overload and eventually almost got to a bursting point which caused the heart to stop in every way possible when the paramedics shocked him it forced oxygen into his lungs which then caused his pulse to return and his heart to become normal though the heart tissue was stretched tremendously.

Possibly, it would depend on the outer velocity on his lungs, If it was low enough the inner velocity would lower, allowing him to inhale and exhale easily.

Wow, no. Butane displaces the oxygen in the lungs and then in the oxygen-carrying complexes in red blood cells. This then leads to it being rapidly transported around the body, causing two types of problems: 1. Butane toxicity: causes neurotoxicity and heart arrhythmia, causing the brain to work more slowly (similar to the effect of alcohol) and the heart to quiver (therefore not pimping blood effectively). The heart does NOT swell or pump backward. 2. Oxygen starvation: the butane in the lungs means oxygen cannot get to the red blood cells. Essentially the patient suffocates or drowns in butane, and all the symptoms that come with that. The brain, heart and other organs die until the patient cannot recover.

I remember I loved this movie, especially Biaggio's performance. However, today when I read about Putin's presence and role in Syria, it made me think of the way Biaggio showed up here in the forrest - trying (but failing miserably) at appearing as a part of the community (international community for Putin..) Of course Biaggio has nothing else to do with Putin XD but still.. "What is this kid doing here? I don't know, but I am afraid to tell him to leave - I don't know what he's capable of."
