I only discovered this trio on iTunes like TODAY...I'm not a fan of the genre, but this piece is almost Middle Eastern-sounding. Great arrangement and percussion.

good. religion has no place in todays society and should definitely not be in our schools. if the devil existed ( I don't believe in fairy tales) then religion would be his or her favorite tool. nothing pulls people apart from each other like religion. wars are fought over it, people die in the name of it. people get persecuted for it, and those in north america that speak out against it are told that they are "atheist scum" and are going to "burn in hell"\ Fuck religion. All forms of it.

My take on the whole thing. Having a Bible on his desk. No problem. So long as he wasn't reading it while he should have been working, I wouldn't care. Teaching from an unapproved textbook. Problem. He'd need to be disciplined. Teachers aren't the same as professors. They don't get the same amount of academic freedom. Branding students. BIG problem. I would charge him with assault. He should lose his teaching license over this.

Having a bible is fine but not in a school setting. Wearing symbols should be alright as long as its not constantly in someones face like a teachers desk. I remember in elementry public school music class they made us sing church choirs. Religion should be avoided in school period. .....And Just throwin it out there, its counterproductive to believe in such silly things. However, if you do believe in it , just leave it at home

Hahahaha you are funny. I am religious but guess what I like science because I like to learn how the world works I may not be the smartest on the subject but I'm young I need to learn. The problem you guys are always complaining about is the religion freaks the ones that just take their religions to the extremes. I think they should brand a pentagram on his forehead. If a teacher was caught doing that this wouldn't even be an argument. What's on next semesters syllabus, a crown of thorns for every student? These christians make me sick and when people look back at them they will feel the same way I do, that is, if they don't rewrite history....which they love to do.

What the hell gives this guy the right to teach this garbage to his students at a public school? I am sure the parents do not agree with this. He should also be given some intellectual testing. Religious people tend to have no friggen clue about real science.

I'm an atheist and frown on what this teacher did but I wouldn't put it past students to burn the crosses into their own arms and conspire agianst the guy. When students don't respect their teacher they will make that teacher's life hell. No pun intended.

It's absurd that it took this long to remove John Freshwater. The state should revoke his teaching certificate. He's broken every basic rule that applies to a public education.

Not only is this morally wrong, it's also AGAINST THE LAW. I'm pretty sure that this would be assault against the kids. Not only should his ass get fired, he should be in jail.
