The keyboard I got as replacement was "frameless", as are most cheap ones
so the missing step is to pry that thing off the old one and put it on the
new one, its relatively easy with small screw drivers to pry and hold open
and just some patience.

+Elmehdi Rahimine I guess you shouldn't change thermal pad for video, but if this pad became a bad (like it was in our case) you should do it. You mustn't use thermal pad for processor, only thermal grease/paste.Actually you have to buy a thermal grease and apply it only for processor 9:47.
+Notebook-Center Thank You , We Can't Use Thermal Pad For processor ? is there any instructions to know when i need to change the thermal path ? because i have never done this , I've been using this laptop For two years
+Elmehdi Rahimine That was the gpu thermal pad. For processors you can use a thermal grease like Thermaltake TG-3, Cooler Master ThermalFusion 400, Zalman Thermal Cooling Grease ZM-STG2 and etc.

Thanks. HM76 has at least two SATA3 ports. However unfortunately on some
mobile (laptop) boards the optical SATA port is limited to SATA2. If you
have a SSD with SATA3 controller it's recommended to install it in the
primary bay to fully utilize its transfers speed and move the hard drive to
the optical bay. For the hard drive it doesn't really matter if you connect
it with SATA2 or 3. It's not able to fully utilize SATA2 speed anyways.
Hope this helps.
Great Vid, Thanks! I just ordered one of these from your website. Do you
know if the SATA connection in the optical drive bay is SATA II or SATA III
on this model (HP Probook 4540s with HM76 Express Chipset) .
really nice but ithink the 2nd hdd will eat up the battery

I had that laptop in my shop, but I would guess it is. Because it's so easy
pull the current drive out, why not just do that and if it is a standard

This guy is clearly unprofessional and not trustworthy .
If you pull the screen bezel like a chimpanzee i can guarantee you that you
will break the inside clips. You don't want to do that .
Just pull the bezel down a little bit and out very patiently and avoid to
apply any pressure or force.
If you want to be more careful just use a cotton swab with oil to the
edges. Then it will slide out easier.
The goal is not to break the inside plastic clips that hold firmly the
screen bezel.
Great video...but I wish you showed how to put the bezel back on. I did
everything up until that point, but I can NOT figure out how to get the
bezel back around the hinges.
