@joenotsokool, the Bible was written, edited, translated & interpreted by men, & as such, contains a plethora of errors. Homosexuality being a "sin" is but one of the many laughable ideas men have dreamed up, which is resoundingly refuted by the Lord every day, since He continues to create, love & keep homosexuality right here on His planet. Men have used the Bible and/or their religious interpretations to condemn many of the Lord's creations, but God loves all His children. Why argue with Him?

You cannot make sweeping statements condemning an entire community, arbitrarily. There are no physical, mental, moral, or social components of a gay person that are wrong, any more than there are for str8 people, so what's the problem? @GodCreatesGays2 Arbitrarily condemn an entire community? I think that's what half the stories in the scriptures are about. Entire communities of sinners being called to repentance. I know enough to know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is centered around families and the importance of the family unit. Any man that says otherwise is a fool, for the family is the root of Love in this life, love that is centralized around Christ. Families can not be made through homosexuality. That is Truth.

@GodCreatesGays2 agreed that the bible contains errors. And agreed that God loves all his children. BUT HOMOSEXUALITY is still wrong. You are obviously bias because either you are gay or a family member or friend is. I have a cousin that is gay. We do not treat him any different and we still love and support him in his life. Many gays that I have talked to say that there isn't a day that goes buy that they think "did I just make a mistake?" It is not natural. How are babies made? huh...

Can you at least make up a source so you can pretend to act like you know what you're talking about? They're sacred garments and if you read the scriptures you'll find sacred garments mentioned in the Bible. So far I've pulled sources and told you places to look. Christ Himself said there would be a nation that would walk alongside Him but they ended up not because they became wicked. It's talking about war that will happen in general among all nations and that people will be allies with certain nations. @majinish Do you have any idea how unoriginal the BoM is? The majority of 2 Nephi is taken from Isaiah, a lot of the rest is from Revelations, 2 Nephi 1:14 is probably from Shakespeare. Jacob 7:27 features a word that didn't exist when it was written. A French word, so there was some pretty shoddy translating at that point. 2 Nephi 30:6 was changed to avoid racism.

It talks about nations being at war and allying with nations but not the US Civil War spreading. No, it was prophesied that it would simply be built and that prophecy has been fulfilled. I was reading the YELP comments on the PCC in Hawaii and over half of the 1 stars were from people from California that were upset they found out the money went to help mormon kids go to college. They didn't like this because many mormons in their state supported prop 8. Thought that was interesting. I am mormon have lots of Gay friends, love them. That is all.
