How to open airport utility Videos

Hi, great video. One question, do you mean to say that Air Port Utility only works with apple routers to create a base station?

The problem is that once I install this aiport utility I never been able to get my internet devices in the environment. However, if I click the internet, it says it is connected

+Chuck Brown I don't know how long their limit is, but you can just buy a simple USB repeater. I've used them many time before to extend USB cables for other devices. They come in all shapes and sizes, but I always just buy the cheap little dongle-sized ones (the size of a large USB thumb drive - has a male and female end and usually costs a few dollars on amzn or you can buy a usb cable with one attached the the end of the cable).

+Chuck Brown You may have a low-quality mic - well you can use EQ to make it sound a little better for your needs. Maybe it is too BOXY sounding. Most cheap mics are.. Well you can dial out some of those mids - lowering them to remove that box-squawkiness. Using the RTA during this process is helpful when doing this becuause it will show you the enhanced frequencies that are coloring the sound and you can choose to dial up or down. - #1 rule always best to take away before adding EQ frequencies. :)

+Chuck Brown You use those eqs to dial in a frequency or tone you want of a particular channel or main out. It can also be used to dial out FEEDBACK problem-matic frequencies from mics or whatever is on that channel and may be feeding back from the floor monitors. Take a look at this vid - https://youtu.be/jiISq4GUYi4 - You can also use it for vocal mics and remove the low frequency (since vocals can't ring lower than 100 Hz) by using the low shelf for the #1 eq point on the far left. Obviously for the Master - you may feel the mics are feeding back from the mains and dial it out or you may want to brighten up the overall mix because it is just sounding muddy. Maybe I should do a video on it.

I am listening little by little before exposing on live events so i have the less amount of issues overall;) and your right having that snapshots and saving setting adjustment are DOPE !

+Chuck Brown I use Cubase 8 now... That's my DAW of choice. Maybe because I started with it back in teh Cubase VST 5 days.

+Chuck Brown Wait you tried to use a Android Phone? I am not sure if you can use a phone to control it. You are supposed to be a Tablet.. That may be your issue. I never heard anyone using a phone. I looked it up Galaxy S3 is a phone.

Bro i tried the mixer using android galaxy s3 and the app does work on each ch fader and master but if i want to add fx-eq-ect it crashes the app says error and i have to restart and does the same each time ... How do I access the 100band Eq?

+Chuck Brown Let me check this...Ok looking at it now, each channel has a graphical parametric EQ to clean up or notch out frequencies. You can then add 4 stereo effects to the Effect Sends. So you can put a Stereo Graphic EQ and be able to add that to any channel, but obviously you can have only one setting per rack effect. So you could essentially have four 31 band EQs set up to add to different channels. Also some stereo effects can be split to LEFT & RIGHT allowing you to have one effect on one Left side and these effects can be INSERTED as well as added via the SENDs. It's all deeper than I need to get to do gigs!!!

Bro i had a doubt the Eq 31 band is only for master and aux outputs or for each (individual input)? I heard that there 4band eq available for each ch input but the rta 31 band is not for each ch? You have experience in this any comments ?

+Chuck Brown Will try to make a video of that... It's on the behringer forum. You should join it to stay on top of the mixers changes and concerns. I think the new firmware changed a bit and will need some more testing with the ipad staying connected. There's a new trick or workaround I discovered on a gig when I couldn't change my wi-fi channel. Behringer said they would fix it. So it may be a non issue with the new updates. I have yet to add them so I am not sure what changed and is it for the better. I hope to do it before my gig on Saturday.

+guitarguts666 Not much really to report on this.. there has been a update again to v1.09 and I think there is a new freezing issue, not sure what it is. I did experience something on my last gig. I tried to change the wi-fi channel in the NETWORK settings and the X-AIR app wouldn't change. I push the button on my ipad and the wifi channel is not changing at all. It seems to be locked. I don't know if this pertains to the new update or what... +Michael Streck I am still happy with it. Except the last gig. I didn't FOLLOW the rules I set with making sure I choose the clearest channel. And experienced the iPad connecting issues - That was my fault for doing sloppy work. But YES I am still happy. Just follow through with choosing the clearest wifi channel. I use my iPad that the Airport Utility app to scan the room you are playing in.
