I'm just shocked at the $100 price. It was £14.95 here in the UK, which is
about $21. There are so many laws protecting the consumers here, they
wouldn't be able to get away with a partial refund when you didn't receive
the product you paid for.

That's terrible Kristy. We decided we wouldn't pay for television, so we
haven't ever since 2002 and don't miss it. We use the free antenna
broadcast tv when we live in town, but went without the country. Now we do
pay for cable and that is bad enough.
I would have kept asking for a supervisor. If they say they don't have one
ask them if they are the CEO of the company. I hate horrible customer
service. I hate that so many people lie and it ruins it for all of us who
are actually honest.
I feel your pain. I don't think there's any company available that's any
better. Direct TV is worse than Time Warner. We've also had Dish TV and a
few others. Either the installers are incompetent or the quality sucks or
the customer service is bad.

Yeah, I think there is. I have Optimum (Cablevision), and I live in the Hudson Valley. Maybe it's just luck (or they're genuinely a good company), but we've never had any major issues with the service. And minor problems we've had were fixed right away. If Optimum is an option, it's definitely much better ☺

know that makes no sense right? especially since the online billing updates
before you even receive your paper bill..meaning you could check out your
balance online a week before a bill is supposed to be delivered to you and
pay that shit!
The most irritating part is that this jackass berates the customer service
rep for "interrupting" him, and he calls it rude...yet he continually
interrupts the rep who's trying to help him. Like everyone else has said,
you have other payment options. Pay online. No bill in the mail does not
equal free. Moron.

He's not talking to a person. It's called a virtual receptionist. Basically
he's talking to a fairly advanced AI soundboard system that responds based
on keywords he states. That's why the "Customer Service Rep" keeps
repeating the same phrases instead of directly answering his question.
There was a call that went viral when Washington Bureau Chief Michael
Scherer called Obamacare and received a "rep" named Samantha who couldn't
answer any of his questions either and couldn't say "I am not a robot."
A real person would have said, "Unfortunately, until we receive and process
payment, we cannot restore service on a delinquent account." That would
have answered his question right there.

This is a joke right, can't believe this has more dislikes. This is why I
switched to Verizon. Time warner cable has by far the worst customer
service & this shitty cable hardly works. Always had to call them to see
what was wrong. I've had Verizon for 2yrs already & have had one issue
which was fixed in mere minutes. I fill sorry for anyone who has to deal
with these people at Time Warner.
