Funny I just looked all over the actual CDC site and hell they do not even call it domestic violence as it is a misnomer in their opinion.  It is IPV and the majority of this is speaking of the impact of IPV against women.  Honestly I thought that men and women were fairly even stat wise but that isn't what they seem to speak of, just the effects on women..

It is over exageration of the actual facts by both "sides" that distract everyone from getting to the actual roots of the issue and trying to make a lasting difference. It is pretty rediculous that there are sides to begin with. No matter who is committing violence in a household it is a huge problem. It is not a damn competition to see who is the most vulnerable or which sex is the leading cause. Your opinion is unfounded and I have never heard from any reliable source a number anywhere near 75%. A person does not have to be a feminist to abhor domestic violence and no one should give a flying rats ass about which gender is more violent or most likely to commit domestic violence. It is not a friggin pissing contest for heavens sake and you and other people both men and women like you sitting around and spinning with your thumb up your ass aren't helping a damned thing. If you actually gave a tinkers damn about domestic violence or violence on children you wouldn't be tossing around numbers and percentages as bait and an insult to anyone.
