When I tell my cousin about veganism, he thinks I'm full of shit etc. He truly believes were omnivorous. He thinks he knows it all. Its sad. When I offer to show him evidence from plant based doctors, china study etc. He won't look at it. He tells me I shouldn't believe everything I hear or see, yet everything he hears about his "SAD", is automatically right. 

Meat also contains Prions. . . which are not a bacteria, a virus, or a parasite. Prions are thought to be behind Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, aka, Mad Cow Disease. Prions are not fully understood yet, which is the most scary part, but they are like broken up bits of small proteins that cause disease. You cannot kill a protein, it is not alive, so there is no way to avoid them. This is why whenever there is a suspected case of mad cow disease, they slaughter every cow within 100 miles or so. Prions have only been found in meat thus far. Avoid all these concerns, hazards and unknowns; keep it simple, just eat plants.
