People use 2 hard drives for several reasons. The most common being just to
increase storage. More advanced users will use 2 hard drives that are
redundant of each other as a back up in case one fails. Or so that they can
decrease load times, although the latter isn't very common these days as
people who want that kind of speed are getting solid state drives.
It shouldn't show by default unless there is something wrong with your
machine, usually if a fan isn't working properly and the processor is in
danger of overheating. If you see this every time you boot without any
problems getting to your desktop and working like normally look around for
BIOS settings that would disable booting to the BIOS.

Sounds like you might be having some driver problems. Everything you do in
msconfig can be undone by re-checking the box. I don't know what "all
retro" means unless you mean like 8-bit color mode in which case you very
likely have some serious hardware problem or you have no video or sound
drivers.
so i'm trying to install windows but when i put the cd and it asks me to
press any key in order to boot from cd-rom my keyboard becomes unresponsive
and it just loads the previous windows installation i had. any hints or
tips on how to set this up?
is there a way to boot off my ssd w/o having a cd in the drive and my back
up hd plugged in. if i set boot priority to hdd it gets stuck at "loading
operating system" and if i unplug my little 2.5" back up drive itll say
press any key to reboot.
Well i also have a old hard drive with windows xp on, when i turned on my

be for windows 95! U have any idea of why? PLease reply and sry for my

i have a quiestion with the SATA ports.. if i connect my 500GB to SATA 1
and i connect my optical drive to SATA 2 , and then i have the E-sata to
connect.. wich port should i connect it with??? thanks! -Mrwonnabee
@metalliholic It would be highly recommended that you reinstall your OS as
you are changing a very substantial piece of hardware. Windows likely
wouldn't load anyway with such a major hardware change detected.
@omarbon23 It's making your processor faster. It's quite dangerous, because
a faster processor creates more heat-which means the computer may be
damaged....good if you want to run a high-end game, though.
on my computer im stuck in something called the insydeh20 setup utility and
when i save and exit my computer restarts and goes back to it does anyone
no how to get out of this
Whatever you did wasn't done through msconfig then. Having Limewire means
you are a prime candidate for having a virus on your machine and that may
be causing your problems.

Does this work for all Gigabyte boards? I have a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 Also can i
set one profile to boot automatically from my Windows 7 drive, and then set
my other Drive to boot automatically from Linux? Thanks,
@chaosbib Check your front panel audio fromt he board to your case. It may
have come loose. It's an easy thing to check and happens all thr time. Good
luck. I cannot be more help without looking at it.
+Francisco Paulino I've just been trying the same type of thing and as far as i could work out CloneZilla doesn't recognize NTFS, I formatted the HDD into exFAT and haven't had any problems.
Does this copy the boot sector and GPT vs DOS format? Necessary for
migrating your OS to a new drive. My current project is to migrate my OS
partition from a 1tb hdd to a 240gb ssd.
+Bryan Chandler Mayby I've seen it with the "device to device" backup option, but there was a question that asks, if the new medium should be bootable. I have to press y to confirm that. After that, the 1:1 copy process is started. So you say I dont need to worry, when I use the "device to image" option? My plan is to collect multiple hdd images on an external hdd and - if necessary - make a bootable copy onto a new hdd.
+Python Josh Yes. The way he showed you creates a exact mirror-image of the disk. No need to do anything after it restores. It'll just boot right up in the same state is was before it was imaged.
Got my brand new laptop today, Fangbook so first thing was to do a
