im sorry but this does not show a true reflection of a cloaca family life
AT ALL.. after 14 yrs of my eldest having this i speak in honesty... where
is the talk of the double incotnince.. the fact no one will ask hewr for a
sleepover cus she is too difficult to maintain with her washouts and
catheters and god forbid overnight drainage bags... yes their needs to be
more awerness but this video is absolutyl appalling... the only bits i
liked where when the family spoke......get it real doctor.. live a week im
our life with our cloaca girl then re do video on facts not hearts and
flowers
Maybe their situation is different from yours. The video isn't appalling. They didn't make this video to provide information on cloaca, they made it so that people will donate to the hospital.
I love this! Im currently in my second year of med school and im constantly
being discouraged about pursuing surgery as my specialty. I just hope more
women become involved in this field and we can change the current mind set
of people preferring male surgeons instead of female ones. :)
Speaking after tongue surgery: No Problem! Head and Neck Cancer Survival!!!!!
My one year update video. NEW! //www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKxuCS-9fXc My first day speaking after surgery on my tongue to remove cancer.
Well, I am not a medical Dr, but I do know that the sooner she get's the
operation, the better. I think tumor growth is based on many things and
varies in each individual. If she smokes or drinks, she should stop
immediately as they are both carcinogenic. I think my tumor was about 1.5cm
round when I finally had the surgery, and it took about a month and a half
to reach this size (starting from just a regular ulcer). I had all of my
lymphnodes removed once they saw metastasis in one of them.
I'm afraid because my tongue is in no good condition for several years now.
It burns, it is red and swollen on the sides and often covered with white
stuff. Just like you wrote in your comment, toothpaste hurts, a lot of food
hurts and so on. I've had this symptoms for years now, they are a result of
heavy and daily heartburn for over 8 years. But now the mucose on the
tongue is starting to change and i'm worried. Anyway: I sincerly wish you
all the best for the future. May god protect you.
I can speak much better now (5 1/2 months out from last radiation
treatment). I still have trouble with my "s" but the tongue swelling has
gone down. I have regained a bit of moisture, but still no where close to
normal. So I have drymouth and carry water everywhere. I can't eat spicy
foods or brush my teeth with strong minty toothpaste. I have made a lot of
adjustments to my diet because a lot of food hurts me. I have a great life,
all things considered. I thank God for healing me.
My reaction when the doctors told me I had cancer was disbelief. I am young
and live a very healthy lifestyle. I was in a new country and didn't
understand the language, and somehow the doctor knew the word "cancer" in
english but he couldn't explain anything more, just that I had tongue
cancer. When they said they had to cut out part of my tongue, I wasn't
happy, but I didn't think it would be a big thing. I was surprised how much
they took and I would like some back. Ha ha
Hi, can you please tell me how your cancer looked and felt like at the
beginning? How did you notice it? I noticed a white spot on the far back of
my tongue 2 weeks ago, don't know how long it has been there. It is on the
right side where the molars meet the tongue. The area looks pretty eroded
and erratic, but there is no pain. The mucosa looks like it was split in
two parts in that area, and the white spot is on one of the parts. I don't
even know how to describe it....
I had exactly the same surgery on September 15th. I'm back to normal now.
Eating everything again and talking almost perfect. I wish somebody share a
video like this one before my surgery. I'm 35 right now and happiest than
ever. God bless you. The worst part is gone and you will get better and
better every day. On my case they removed 53 lymph nodes and abt 2.5 inches
of the left side of my tongue. Thanks or sharing your experience. God bless
u again. Nelson.
Hi so glad to see a tongue survivor. God bless you. I have a 26 year old
friend in a hospital ICU in Jakarta (Indonesia), she's on stadium IV now.
Too sad to know that she found out she has tongue cancer 15 months ago, and
it was only stadium 2B. She didn't get any surgery done as she was so
afraid the idea of cutting her tongue. She went through numerous numbers of
chemos, radiations, and even traditional treatments, but seems that none of
them help..
If your mom has what seems to be a sore or ulcer (especially at the back
side/base of the tongue) she needs to get a biopsy TODAY to see if it is
cancer. I found out about my cancer on Oct. 30 and had my first surgery as
you see above on Nov. 25th. So it took about a month to get me scheduled
and in the operating room. The faster you find out that it is cancer, the
better your chances are of surviving it.
I can tell you that, since I am young compared to most people who get this
cancer in their 50s-60s, the Doctors decided to be aggressive and give me
chemo and radiation as well. The surgery was the easy part although my
speech is still slurred (I can't say a nice crisp "s" anymore.) The 35 days
of radiation was the worst thing I ever went through. Bless your mom and
all that she will have to embark.
As adjunct therapy while she waits for surgery, check out Gerson Therapy. I
drink carrot/apple juices daily and have cut out a lot of food from my diet
to prevent recurrence if at all possible. I still went through with the
surgery, but now I rethink the things that pass through my mouth and the
other toxins in daily life. I'll put the link to the video in the
description under the video.
Cells whether cancerous or normal can only live and reproduce (undergo
mitosis) in a pH range of between 6.5 and 7.5. A healthy cell has a pH of
7.35 while a cancer cell is more acidic. Cesium when taken orally will
raise the pH of cancer cells, but not that of normal cells. When the pH of
a cancer cell goes above 7.5 it dies and if it goes above 8.0 it will die
in a matter of hours.
Cesium a crystalline salt has been used successfully for cancer for many
years now. Cesium Chloride and Cesium Carbonate work by raising the cancer
cell's Ph to a highly alkaline state. Although many anti-cancer diets also
produce an alkaline state, they simply cannot do so as quickly or as fully
as Cesium can.
Went to the doctors yesterday. She thinks i may have cancer on my tongue.
The blister looking crap, has been the for a month, no pain though, until
they took a sample. I am scared for my two small children, If something
were to happen to me. Im starting to become depressed..
i had my tongue cut in half when i was born I had a facial diseas and still
do But im still kicking and happy So dont give up you tongueless people WE
CAN MAKE IT OUT OF THIS
Dont have cancer but my face will never be normal SOO WHO GIVES A CRAP if
your happy just FIGHT IT
Great too see you are ok.My 69 year old mum is going into hospital on the
23/02/2012 to get half her tongue removed plus her Lymph nodes removed from
the left side. She has been told she regain her speach and be able to eat
again.Thank God for small mercies! KEEP ON FIGHTING!
Cancer cells are very weak, far weaker than healthy cells. It is very easy
to kill cancer cells if you can create the right environment. The following
protocols are deadly to cancer cells, yet harmless if not outright
beneficial to healthy cells.
we had the biopsy done...it shows pre cancer with questionable invasion of
tongue cancer. But MRI stated that mandibular lymphnodes are enlarged. And
it is a sore of size 1.8 * 1.1 cm in middle of the tongue. (not on the
back, in the front)
Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on for a while. Thanks for your
message. Yes I had my surgery at JFCR in Tokyo, and so far 10 months later
am ok. Speaking is a little slurred still but ok. I hope you are getting
better too.
Yeah you live a virtuous life, this is what happens. Hot wild teen girls
piercing their tongue as readily as slipping on a pair of heels, and they
have no consequences whatsoever. God moves in mysterious ways, huh?
Konnichiwa Marcus-san. I see you are in Nihon. Sugoi! Did you get the
surgery there? How is speaking afterward the surgery? Nihongo ga mutsukashi
desu ne?! Good luck in your recovery. My thoughts are with you.
I found it early and so less than half was removed. I'm not sure what the
actual percentage is. It seems like 1/4th or less. It was the left side of
my tongue, lengthwise or an oval shaped cut.
Hey, i have a question because my mum is experiencing the same thing. Your
help will be much appreciated. After how much time exactly since the
occurrence of an ulcer or a sore, u had surgery?
Wow, Cath, this is just amazing. I know it's feeling like an eternity to
get back to a sense of normalcy, but you've come an incredibly long way in
just a few days. Thanks for posting this!
:( this is really sad. Did you like the fact you had to get your tongue
removed what was your reaction when doctors told you? Your very beautiful
by the way !
