Eating Sashimi & Wasabi for the first time! II Japan vlog
Hei guys! Watch me eating Sashimi & Wasabi for the very first time! I still can't believe I actually ate raw fish, since it's the one food I really can't stand.
...several days later...mind you that before consuming raw fish i have been
experiencing the most enchanted reality ever, abundance, feeling calm and
love and after eating raw fish again the second time, i couldnt sleep all
night, and experienced short term depression the following day which
shocked the hell out of me because i knew this was crazy now that i was raw
but i pieced the puzzle together..."oh yeah i did eat raw fish last
night"...dont mean to scare ppl but just sharing my experience.
Peoples all over the earth thrive on sea food. Are you saying vegans don't
suffer with depression? What about vegans that have had shit lives? The
chemical balance in the body from what we eat is not the only reason we
have feelings or energies. Your next experiment could be to not monitor how
you feel every day, then see if you are a happier person in say, a years
time. Scrutiny also causes depression. Maybe something like meditation
would ease the endless objectification of your life. Shalom
Dude, read my post again. I said Carnivore/Omnivore - not carnivore. Lions
eat meat only. Humans physiologically and evolutionary have allways had
meat in their diet - and our digestive system is adapted for this (google
"herbivore human digestive system" 7 first). This is confirmed by analysis
of bones from paleolithic and non-homosapiens humans. So go raw, by all
means - you'll have me cheering you on, just don't claim it's the "natural
thing", because it isn't. Eat what you want - omnivore
Interesting!! I eat some meat occasionally and haven't noticed a response
of aggression. But I have noticed my energy level plummeting, and my
digestion being disturbed. I'll been high raw almost a 100 days, but
occasionally have a craving for it. Especially if I smell it grilling!!
Good for you for recognizing the problem right away. And supposedly, raw is
easier to digest than cooked! Maybe I'll try a little raw salmon on a salad
next time I have a craving. I just wish the craving would go!
I've been vegan for a year and on the few occassions I craved animal foods
I recognised it as my body's craving for foods high in protein and fat so I
ate nuts and other non-raw high protein vegetable based foods. It cleared
the craving up straight away and helped me to retrain my body to ask for
the specific nutrients it desires. Going cold turkey with all animal
products and learning the above skill is the only way I can recommend to
overcome this craving, that and watching some slaugher...
um let me add in some words because i love sashimi but this video really
strung some cords within me. ok i've been pretty raw vegan for like 2-3
weeks, one night i ate salmon sashimi and went to bed right away, i had the
most terrifying nightmare of my life where two ppl were lit on fire with
gasoline poured on them by group of gangsters, it was super vivid and
really terrifying. ok i just brushed this experience off because i love
eating sashimi and tried to eat raw salmon again continue...
I've been trying to watch all of your videos. Before our last baby was born
I tried to go raw and lost a TON of weight and saw a huge difference in my
body aches, depression, cramps ect ect....don't ask why I stopped. I have
no idea WHY LOL But when I found your channel the other night it really
pumped me up to start again. Infact, I'm going to go shopping tomorrow to
stock up as much as I can to get started. I thought this video was
extreamly interesting. It really REALLY made me wonder
Why do people keep repeating this non-truth? Are you saying that the human
digestive system isn't long??? Where are you getting this info?? I did a
search. This first thing I found said food goes through a dog in 7 hours.
It takes a human 2-4 days. Another site: "the lions small intestine is 3
times the length of his body. This means that the meat he eats moves
through his system quickly, while its still fresh. Humans, however, have
much, much longer intestines, ideal for plant foods.
I stopped eating animal products 14 years ago, and only now am I up to 80%
raw. So raw people eating meat seems strange to me. One benefit of raw is
that it's easy on the organs. But meat is not, partly because we have the
digestive system of a herbavore. Very well put about experts. They've only
studied modern eating, not raw or vegan. So naturally they're against it.
And you'll find that food and health is one of the most corrupt fields of
"science". Corrupted by money and emotions.
This person wanted assistence in loosing the craving for fish. My comment
was not intended to be offensive. For the record though I do not judge a
person who *genuinely* kills to live (i.e. Inuit people, I'm not talking
about weekend fishermen who fish for fun). To me that is like a lion, they
both have no other choice. A person who kills for entertainment or merely
for the taste, knowing full well there are other options, that person I may
not be overly eager to be friends with.
I went raw vegan for my health not because of animal's horrible lives.
However, the longer I follow this lifestyle, the more I learn, and the
happier I am not eating animal products. The other day, I was cooking pork
for my hubby, and told him about a video I saw about baby piggies being
castrated without freezing. And I started bawling! And I'm crying now too.
It didn't bother me before, but it seems I'm changing as animal everything
has left my body.
where or even WHAT things really are with depression, anger, that sort of
thing and if it actually has something to do more or less with what we are
putting into our bodies. Not so much as the mind. I guess to an extent.
Huh! I have no idea if that made sense. Haha Thank you for sharing this and
for getting me all excited to get back on track. I'm so excited! I'll have
to try and vlog what happens.
Just because you had a lack of energy after eating Salmon doen't mean it's
bad.. Do you honestly think Raw Salmon is bad for you??? It's extremely
healthy, highly digestable, and lots of Vitamin B12. I think because you
were lacking the nutrients from meat for so long, it was a shock to your
body to suddenly have it? Don't be scared to slowly add in some sashimi..
Trust me it's all good :)
What if you watched footage of an Inuit respectfully hunting for a nice
fish and eating it for his dinner. Is that akin to witnessing slaughter.
Not all processes of acquiring fish flesh are slaughter (a word heavily
connoted with the notion of deranged genocide, wholesale killing sprees) a
tribesman hunting for fish is not slaughter. Neither is my father fishing
for freshwater trout.
if u judge about a 100% raw diet without having tried it for a week you re
like a virgin that says: Sex is overrated actually its more extreme with
raw. fruits are carbohydrates, the body needs mostly carbohydrates(80-90%)
from fruit or cooked rice or grains or potatos. Raw food is mostly water so
u need to eat a few times your food in volume. organic only.
- "I think because you were lacking the nutrients from meat" I actually
LOL'ed. People show up without knowing her history(superfoods, etc) and
think they have the answer. Anyway, I've stopped using the "reply" button
because that emails them the response.........then they COME BACK. And
that's a waste of good energy. :)
there's nothing instinctual in us as humans beings to compel us to hunt,
kill & ingest animals. Then again there's nothing instinctual in us to rip
plants out of the ground & eat them, but we know we require food ... I
don't know, that's why i think. eating meat has to be an ethical choice at
the end of the day.
Cool, it's so interesting huh! I'm truly amazed at what I'm discovering.
Thanks for the info. I think you're right. The cleaner the diet and the
more sensitive you become to the real quality of the 'food', the less you
resonate with things that, perhaps, are of a vibration that you no longer
affiliate with.
That is not true dude. You'll notice if you look at the digestive system of
a herbivore, that they have quite alot of it, and often more specialized
systems for digesting vegetable matter only. You are an Carnivore/omnivore
and therefore a less specialized gut (and much less of it (shorter)).
I have noticed that the higher raw I eat (it's been a progression for me)
the less I want meat. It's been three weeks since I've had anything outside
of salmon. It's interesting & exciting to experience those changes. Cheers!
Sara
Hi, I can hear the difference in your speech. I have heard this same
response from several others who have done this. All have experienced the
feeling of aggression. You're brave to have taken the risk in search of
enlightenment.
