It's like ky jelly has sodium hydroxide in it. This is suppose to lubricate the vagina, ha ha ha, sodium hydroxide is black hair relaxer, so it dries out the vagina even more. Astroglide, make sure not to get the jelly it has sodium hydroxide. Always read labels.

how to get a job in the cosmetics industry
hey fruit bats! i wanted to do this video on some tips and how tos when it comes to getting an interview and potentially a job in the cosmetics industry. while this is ...
no problem! i hope this helps. and yes, i think that you still have a
strong chance, even if you have more of that type of background. sephora
and mac are companies. companies run and need precision and amazing
customer service. i really can't stress that enough. customer service is
everything to a strong company. even if you start out just being at
cash-wrap, you will learn and grow. also, cosmetic companies will invest
that time and money into training you. you will be covered with that too!
probably just what she said. if they're not looking for adding additional
cast members right now, they'll keep you in mind and call you in for
another interview or for hire when they need you. you aren't going to see a
lot of hiring at sephora from now until july or september. then after that
it's holiday, and around february they decide who they'll keep from the
holiday bunch. that's another great opportunity you can have. get hired for
holiday and impress them and you'll most likely stay :)
An update on my search for a job at Sephora. I went to the locate store at
Sephora and i talked to the manager and she told me that they will start
the hiring on February the 1st. i asked her for a job application and i
gave it back to her along with my resume. I been going to the store to shop
for some make-up and she remember my name. of course i went there with my
make-up well done and black outfit. i talked to every girl in the store and
they seem nice.
hey there, thank you :) like i said, it's all about working your way up and
showing them what you have to offer. impressions and passion are everything
in this industry, so just keep that in mind. also, i would suggest going in
to ask questions like that. phone calls can be annoying if they are busy,
and it gives you one less opportunity to let them get associated with your
face. put yourself out there as much as you can so that they will remember
you xx
True because the specialist pulled me aside when I came back to shop and
said it was really about payroll and kept affirming I was gonna get hired
later on as their transitions settle down. I'm at Ulta currently as a
consultant so I'm already in beauty. Everyone has told me most people dont
even get called back if they dont want to hire you so the fact that they
said all of that means alot I was told. Thanks for the imput and the video.
Thank you... I was on the fence about applying but now I have the
confidence I need to get my application... But the only thing I'm a little
scared about is that my "Job History" is in either secretarial work or
within the construction industry... Will Sephora or MAC still take me even
though I don't have the "right" job history? Your help would be GREATLY
appreciated!! Also once again THANK YOU SO MUCH!
The store manager asked me to apply after finding out I worked at ULTA and
we share the same Philosophy rep so I'm pretty secure that I have the job.
I'm gonna go in my normal ULTA clothes and just do my thing with what I
know. If i get it I do but if I dont I dont. I think I'll get it mainly
because they asked me to apply instead of vice versa.
Hi, first I want to say you are really pretty and I loved this video. I
have a question I want to apply at Sephora but I have never worked in
make-up industry before is that okay. I have worked at 7-eleven and was a
tutor at a school. Also do you it would be okay to call them and ask if
they have any openings before applying? Thanks.
I did my demo interview and they said to work on my selling abilities they
called me back to tell me they would "hold off" on hiring me till later
mainly because of pay roll. the director who got me to apply in the first
place. Told me not to be discouraged and assured me I would end up there
later on. What do you think of this?
i asked for tips from friends i knew inside of the industry, and did as
much as i could to prepare. like, knowing products, being up on trends,
that kind of thing. a lot of product knowledge comes with time and
training. i wasn't at the point i am today, however, i made it my business
and goal to immerse myself in the art :)
hey there! you want to try to keep things as honest as possible, but like i
said, if you like a drug store foundation the most/it looks the best on
you, wear it! just make sure you've studied other foundations enough so
that you have one that matches the same finish of the one you're wearing :)
that depends. if it's a new store opening, you all will train together and
brands will come in and teach you product information. if you're a new cast
hire, you will probably be sent to sephora university during it's next
session. sometimes that's in california, chicago, just depends xx
hey Victoria! I've always wondered if lying was okay when they ask you what
you're wearing on your face... I mean I've tried a fair share of high-end
foundations but I always find myself reaching for my Revlon Colorstay and
always thought about what I'd say if they asked
Do you think working at an office job for 4 years and doing makeup for a
high school play a couple of times would help me get a job at Sephora? I
was thinking about applying there around when summer starts. And I love the
decorative piece in the background!
omg, yes! i don't believe that makeup is gender limited. of course, some
people have a harder time seeing things that way, but it's an art! to me
that's like saying there can't be a girl drummer. it's bull shit to me. do
what you love and make you happy :)
what if you havent worked anywhere like a store or something like that,
basically only babysitting and stuff like that but the people you have
worked with are with very "high authority" doctors and other stuff. would
that still be enough in order to apply?
from my professional standpoint, age is not a disadvantage. it's all about
your level of professionalism and maturity. a company will invest in a
dedicated and passionate twenty-year-old before a flaky 30-year-old, and
vice versa.
every person is different in what they look for in applicants, there is no
right or wrong answer. i personally think you would have a difficult time
if you have never worked in retail before, but that's not to say
impossible.
Thank you so much. I just turned 18 and I'm applying to sephora. I'm really
skilled at makeup but don't have retail experience. I really want this job.
I'm so nervous and these tips helped me so much.
I am planing to apply tomorrow morning so it going to be my first time i
apply for cosmetics store. I really would love to work at Sephora i love
make-up. so i am preparing myself before i go there.
So um this is my first time coming across your video and you are freaking
amazing! I honestly felt like I straight up knew u lol. Awesome video,
eased my nerves for my upcoming interview a lot.
thank you! i would try to apply before holiday time, so september would be
great. it also just depends for every store, you never know when they need
new cast members unless, so ask around :)
Why doesn't this have more views!? This video was extremely helpful, it's
always nice to hear first hand advice from someone who's inside the
industry. Thank you!
In retail, mainly younger associates are hired because they apply.. there
are not too many mature people working retail!
