+kevin mcdonnell Jordan retired because he didn't want to play.If he didn't havve the will to play, he wouldn't have won.He would have had the talent and roster to do it, but then so do many other teams.
+Colton W Well he played like 18 years didn't he? But, Duncan and Garnett have managed to eat and exercise right, they could both easily play another 2 years if they wanted. Shaq miss a lot of games in LA as well, almost comical.
+bibby42 Yeah in Shaqs defense in Miami he was having quite bit knee injuries that held him back. Phoenix he had that one strong year. I blame the fact he ballooned up to 365 pounds as a Laker that never made any sense to me because all the rule changes took effect and it was no longer a really physical league he was bigger than everyone to begin with at 320 if hed a kept his weight trim hed a had much better longevity.
+Colton W Shaq was incredibly dominant, I'm not trying to knock the dude or what he has accomplished, stellar career. You're right in everything you've said. He missed a lot of games, should have led the league in boards and blocks and been a defensive player on 1st team a couple times at least. Furthermore, Shaq's numbers declined in his later Miami years and when he was traded to Phoenix his numbers got better again, playing alongside Nash. Shaq always said Nash robbed him of an MVP award, but at the end of the day Nash deserved his 2 MVP's and Shaq is just a big whiny baby.
+bibby42 Never even led the league in boards. In season I think Jalen Rose said best he was a huge underachiever in season giving his gifts physically. Never led in rebounds never led in blocks no defensive player of year not even all defensive first team honors. Only 2 scoring titles which really shouldve been more like 6. Not to mention all the games he missed.
+Jek Tono Porkins I clearly said "season," whenever he talks about Steve Nash robbing him of an MVP that's done on season stats/ performance, which he NEVER averaged 15 rebounds in any season like he always said he did. Much, much less games in the playoffs.
So Shaq admitted that the reason why he and Kobe fell out was because he
had to take a pay cut but what does that have to do with Kobe?. Was Kobe
asking for equal salary?. I don't pay attention to players salary so I
don't know but I feel that's quite selfish for a players who would opt over
greed than glory. In Shaq's case, he went on to win another Championship in
Miami but still, he and Kobe under Phil Jackson could have won so many
titles together.
These two players are an example of WHAT not to be. GSW is setting a
perfect example of team works and I almost wish they would go on to win 7
straight NBA finals just so that they could prove that money is less
important than friendships/team chemistry. It's always the team that loses
their great opportunity due to in-fighting. The 2003-2004 Lakers is a
perfect example. They had the most roster in the NBA and they lost to
Detroit in the NBA Finals due to Shaq not seeing eye to eye with Kobe and
Kobe not seeing eye to with Karl Malone and Shaq and also having to deal
with the Rape charges. You also had Gary Payton on your team.
+Wanderersea Harrison Barnes turned down $64 million from GSW because he wants more money. The career of a pro-athlete isn't a long one, so you're going to look to make as much as you can in the time you have.
Why does he think they could of won 5, people seem to forget that the 2004
pistons killed the lakers in the finals 4-1, and blew them out in a close
out game.
+John Doe Because the Lakers team was different. The Pistons beat the Lakers by playing zone and denying Shaq the ball as much as possible and this also took away from Karl's touches. TO beat a zone you need penetration and shooting. With a starting lineup for Payton Malone Kobe and Shaq, Kobe is the only guy who could do either of those things. When Derek Fisher came in the game they did pretty well because he could space the floor but he didnt play enough.Lakers team of 2000-2002 would have beat the 2004 pistons, but the 2004 Lakers were poorly constructed and simply had all these star studded names that didn't mesh that well together.
+Joe Kidd They only needed him to stay healthy for 1 more series. I agree w/ you though in that I feel that it's better to build a team from scratch, which is why I'm not a fan of the trade the Sixers have made.
+Arsen Akopyan In the end, the Lakers relied too much on a "Dream Team" concept that year, much as they would nine seasons later. We will bring in this big name, and that big name, and who cares about how old they are or how everyone will interact ... As you indicated, Malone constituted the glue, but when you are relying on forty-year old glue, you probably will not make it all the way through.
+Arsen Akopyan The Lakers constituted a team divided, at least in the sense of the two big stars. As you know, that rift had been in the works for years. The injuries to Malone and Grant hurt, but when your power forwards are forty and thirty-eight, respectively, that is what happens.
+Joe Kidd Lakers were essentially w/o Karl Malone in that series after Game 2, who was the glue to their team. Kobe seemed to feud less w/ Shaq whenever Malone was on the floor. They were also playing w/o Horace Grant who had a broken foot, so LA was pretty depleted in that series at the power forward spot. Still, if not for the Shaq-Kobe feud that reared its ugly head so bad in Game 4, the Lakers team that beat the defending champion Spurs two series earlier would've beaten the Pistons. When Kobe and Shaq were relatively getting along, it was a much different Lakers team from when Kobe was just on a 1-man mission to show the world he's Michael Jordan, even if it meant costing his team victory. Shaq came out in Game 4 dunking everything, Kobe was shooting nothing but air balls over Tayshaun Prince, yet still wouldn't feed Shaq the ball in the 2nd half. Shaq scored 39 points in a game he was destined for 50, in a game the Lakers only lost by 8, and it was closer than the final score.
+Arsen Akopyan ... right, but that is part of my point: the Pistons really functioned as a team—as a collective unit—whereas the Lakers were more a collection of parts glued together much more lightly. And under the pressure of facing an opponent such as Detroit, the Lakers cracked.
+Joe Kidd Detroit was so NOT the better team. They just played as a team, something that had LA done scratch of other than the eight assists from Luke Walton in Game 2, they would've won Game 4 + probably the series.
+Arsen Akopyan I think that Detroit, as matters turned out, constituted the better team. Bryant could have done things differently, but he was what he was.
+John Doe That's cause Kobe was a total ball hog in Game 4. They would've won 5 w/ Kobe being at least a semi team player after their 1st title in 2000 to jump start the millennium.
@Shaq Oneal & Comedian Gary Owen Clown Black Women On TV But Is This Offensive? #HCBW
follow me on twitter //www.twitter.com/tjsotomayor find more channels on //www.sotomayortv.com.
Do you notice in mainstream media that the black woman is usually portrayed
as fat, unattractive, and having a sassy attitude?..and is usually used for
comical effect?
Even though I know he's not talking about every single black woman, I can't
help but think about how hard it is being a black woman when I hear him
talk. So many people group all of us into the same category and it sucks
for those of us who are actually decent women who contribute to society.
For black men that say things like 'I'd never date a black woman', you
should know first hand how much it sucks being grouped into a category you
don't fit in after being stereotyped as violent thugs by society. I'm not
advocating no interracial dating, I'm just saying counting out all women
from the race you are a part of (even if not fully) is sad. I will say we
are 'clowned' by the media though because there are ratchet (for lack of a
better word) women in all races, but ratchet black women are just showcased
the most. Then again the same can be said for violent black men.
+Pooh Bear I NEVER SAID RACE. WE TEND TO GANG UP ON PEOPLE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SKIN COLOR OR ANYTHING LIKETHAT. This is a learned trait it is taught every day on TV (White Ran). I really don't care if you re light or dark. I am not white an you are not black we are different shades of brown. We as a whole do tend to gang up on others. I remember not that long ago everyone was making fun of mental handicaps. Talk show host making short bus jokes that stuff. So pooh sorry I am not about color. Though I am not to fond of the little green guys but that's because they are probe happy
+phydeauxddog That's exactly what I'm talking about. I conduct myself in a civilized manner and only surround myself with people who do the same, yet you just said "quit ganging together to act this way", assuming I act like the stereotypical black woman portrayed in the media.
You're very ignorant to continue making videos bashing Black women. Notice
that all Black women do not exemplify these negative characteristics; and
you have made several disgusting videos with your ignorant commentary. You
must have nothing else better to do with your time than to continue the
perpetuation of negative stereotypes against Black women. I feel sorry for
you.
I thank 20% is to high.. the one you're talk about are very, very hard to fine.. why keep looking?? When you marry one she will be the BT-1000 in disguise.. Black American men, when see back women, run, run very fast. Because, they want your life, or your money.. If not both..
+Antoine Barnes Sir, you should not have to explain this to a well educated black woman. Only the fat hair hat BT-1000 have a problem understanding it..
Actually, I used the word correctly. I know ignorant means lacking information, thank you. And he clearly is lacking it, because EVERY video he makes of Black women is demeaning and biased; not EVERY Black woman behaves this way, and people like him certainly have not met EVERY Black woman, but clearly (due to the ones who do behave this way) many people have put the negative stereotypes upon all. This makes a lot of people (men and women) think that this is how all Black women behave, thus casting Black women into a category of being low-class, loud, unruly...the list goes on and on. And he isn't just talking of the ones who behave inappropriately; watch more of his videos and you will see. And I don't get upset solely when someone bashes Black women; no person should be made the object of hatred, regardless of color.
Calling him ignorant means he is lacking information. He's is giving people the information that backs up the negative stereotypes. I think pointing out behavior isn't a bad thing. He knows as well as us watching his videos that all black women are not like that. The videos are not about the women who DO NOT act like that. I don't get upset when women talk about dead beat dads because I am not one. It's not my concern if those men are looked at negatively. That's their problem. I'm not going to defend them. Same with the women.
This is how the world sees American black women, this is no lie.

Kobe Bryant says Karl Malone tried to hit on his wife Vanessa
First off, nowhere in this interview, did Kobe say that Karl tried to hit
on his wife. Yes, for all of us who've heard the story other places, of
course we know, but all Kobe did here was sidestep questions and say it was
personal, while keeping "it" very vague. (i.e. "What happened happened.")
That is NOT the same as the title of this video would like us to believe.
Kobe switched up that who am i to say talk...now he cussing and gotta idgaf
