Stir fry beef with bok choy 牛肉白菜
White bok choy 小白菜 is a popular Chinese vegetable used in stir fry. It has a white watery stem with green leaf at the top. White bok choy can be used in many ...
ow ok now I get itThanks for explaining this but did you have a video that explains how to make the Stokpot?Sorry for asking You many questions but i'am a big fan Chinese cooking. Your video's are great and also an inspiration to me.My origin is Indonesian but i was born and raised in the Netherlands. I experiment a lot in combination with chinees and indonesian cooking. there are many similarities but I think the Chinese variants much more effective than we like to cook. One example in which the Chinese people are better is to create the special flavor in several dishes. Thanks in advance (Y)
large one is stock pot.small one is for cleaning and general use, and water on the cooker is for cooling. it does get very hot when i am at full flow on a night.
Khoan, that looks fantastic and quick with relatively few ingredients, I
always wanted to buy and try the bok choy at my local veg market and now I
have good reason too!, thanks.
Khoan - have you thinned down your oyster sauce to make it come out of the
bottle easier? The types I buy are pretty thick. I've done this dish with
chicken for my girlfriend and she loves it. My chinese cooking experiments
normally drive her mad.
I've done similar dishes myself before Khoan. The deep, meaty savoury
flavour of the beef in oyster sauce with the crisp and crunchy bok choy is
delicious.

Calcium In Vegetables - Juice (Kale, Bok Choy, Celery, Apple)
There is a significant amount of calcium in certain vegetables. In this video I decide to juice a few! You can juice them too or eat them raw etc.. This is great for ...
Listen carefully, and you will hear this fellow say that the various plants
he touts will provide "5 to 10 percent" of your daily calcium. When he says
"over 11%" he lies, since even the best plants, like bok choy, provide only
11% of the RDA of calcium for kids & older adults. Dairy products all have
over 30% absorption, allowing only 4 servings to give that same RDA. This
is why all national authorities, agencies, physicians & dieticians
recommend dairy products for calcium (& other things).
This video is honest about the very low percentage of our RDA of calcium is
provided by those plant sources he mentions: 5-10%, maybe 11% at best for
bok choy. That means we need ten or twenty servings of these per day, which
is not going to happen. All national authorities & agencies recommend dairy
products as safe & effective, requiring only 4 servings to get our RDA of
calcium. Reading good books on nutrition protects you from being fooled by
these lame anti-dairy activist videos.
The best advice I can render is that you should make an appointment with a
registered dietician who can ask you about your food preferences,
allergies, etc., and then make meal plans and daily & weekly meal
suggestions which you can use for exceptionally good nutrition while on a
budget and wanting to lose excess fat. Forget the protein powders & other
tricks. It boils down to calories in vs. out, and you can burn calories in
many fun ways, like dancing to your favorite music.
This is a good video. Essentially what this guy is doing is making an
alkaline juice, in a slow juicer - it doesn't get much better than that.
The alkalinity means that his body won't strip calcium from his bones to
balance any acidity (which happens from protein and dairy products). Dairy
products actually cause you to lose calcium. The diary industry (and idiots
like freelion007 / 007truthseeker) will always try and tell you otherwise.
say you're on a budget.... is it necessary to use/buy thinks like protein
shakes and all that whey supplements to lose weight/fat?? or is it still ok
to just eat healthy food??? It seems as though they only way to lose
weight/fat is to eat healthy AND buy protein powder/ different supplements,
you can't have one without the other?? :/ Please answer!
not just calcium, thiers also alot of vegetables that produce protien too.
and if you brakdance your going to need both ,raw food is the best for the
body! especaily if your going to continue to breakdanceing,. good for
joints and muscles.. to add flavor or sweetness just add your favorite
fruits.thanks pigmie.
Show me the stats that it is even possible to become calcium deficient!
Guess what, you can't because it's never happened. Therefore vegetables as
a calcium source are just fine. You only know just enough to be dangerous.
I enjoyed your video brother. Just bought the Omega 8006!
