+John M Hi John, I have many patients with herniated discs that use the cervical block. There are are some things they had to modify though. They start very slowly on the block, just a couple of minutes per day. Slowly building up to 10 minutes. Icing is a must after each use for 10 minutes. Herniated discs can get irritated, so taking it slow is very important.
Yea I'm a young kid I'm 15 and my neck is not straight and it feels
uncomfortable I just want my neck back to normal. Do you think like trying
to sit up straight all the time will help? Because when I play video games
I lean my neck forward.
Well when I look in the mirror I can tell it's not straight I even ask my mom and she says it's not completely straight. But my mom told me awhile ago the reason it looks like that is because I am kinda a bigger kid so the fat builds up on the neck. And I have motor ticks so I twitch my neck a lot could that be another reason why it's messed up ?
+Fr4ckin U up Hello, yes being conscious of your posture is very important in having a normal neck curve. Try to take some breaks and stretch when playing video games for long hours. If you can try to raise the screen up so your looking straight ahead. This should help reduce any neck pain or stiffness. How do you know if you have a straight neck, did you have x-rays taken?
+Souvik Guha Hello Souvik, yes we ship to India. Just click this link //www.lonetreechiro.com/new/ and it click on the Paypal button on the bottom of the page. Once you are on the paypal page click on the button that says "ship outside US" Hope this helps.
Is using the posture block sufficient to restore the 30 degree curve in the
neck? Or do you need to get chiropractic adjustments 2-3 times per week? (I
was recently told by a chiropractor that I would need 2-3 adjustments per
week plus physical therapy for at least 6 weeks in order to restore the
curve). Please let me know. Thank you.
Hi Angela, thanks for checking out the video. Its hard for me to make any medical decisions without doing an exam and seeing any x-rays. I can tell you however, that my patients use the cervical curvature correction foam block along with their Chiropractic treatments. The Chiropractic care will help to correct the misalignments, increase range of motion, replenish synovial fluid, reduce nerve pressure, and break up any micro-deposits of calcium that are trying to form. The Cervical Curvature Correction block will help to stretch and retrain muscles and ligaments to conform to a new position or 30 degree curve. I hope this explanation helps.Sincerely,Dr. Mainieri

I have a 4 level cervical fusion. 5 years later and now I have neural
foriminal narrowing on levels C-2 - C-6 + C-7 & T-1 have a subluxation,
that is super sharp pain, and spurring on the same levels where the
narrowing is.
My left shoulder is now dropping and popping and grinding. I have severe
headaches up the back of my skull. I sit in a reclining chair all day
long., Riding a bike or even swimming, are things I did in the past. They
aggravate it now to the point, of me just being worn out from enduring this
so long! 20mg of oxycodone BID masks the pain a little. My osteopath is
helpful, but his relief only lasts a couple of days now.
What could I do at this point? That 4 level fusion was tough to recover
from.
I found a neurosurgeon who is connected to Laser Spine Institute. I see him November 3rd and I went to him in the past. Dr Aferzon is great neurosugeon. Thanks for the comments and your time.
REALLY? I have the CT-CD and I have the written report. The neurosurgeon who did my last (4) level ACF, does not call back. I was referred to someone else, and still, nobody is calling me back. I do not understand why this is happening. I am in Connecticut and it seems like your number is in NY? I read about that surgery and I am very interested in getting some type of quality of life back. Should I still contact your office? Medicare became primary, because I have been disabled for more than (2) years. I have ANTHEM/BC as secondary. I just turned 55. Thanks for responding.
+Rootsgal Cervical foraminal stenosis can still occur in spite of a fusion. My endoscopic foraminotomy can be performed as an outpatient without interfering with your previous surgery. Please contact the office (949-640-6675) if you would like me to review your films and speak with you.
My husband recently had this done. His left leg was almost numb 24 hours a
day and had started giving out on him and he was falling. He is only 50 and
is an electrician which means very bad news for him.. Anyway we found a
great doctor who was doing this treatment. She got him right into surgery
and within a week he was back to normal. It was a miracle. He has no pain
at all anymore. I recommend it for anyone needing surgery. I myself will be
having it soon.
+carol bellinger Actually, its all connected, cervical and lumbar, so anything cervical can give relief in the legs, even though that was not the case here.I had a cervical fusion and my low back pain, that lingered after an L-4-5 surgery, was relieved even more, and it was not why I went in.
