You are preaching to the choir hunny! I told you my last trimester I lived
in the hospital! I was terrified of taking strong meds but the docs told me
over and over the same thing they told you til finally I had to listen to
them. It is very mentally frustrating! But the experience of going to the
ER is heaven cuz you get immediate care. I loved it! I think that will be
the only thing i really miss! lol Hang in there! Its totally worth it in
the end!

+Because I Shay So I dont think we have really ever talked about it or explained it, so we will definitely do that in a video soon =)... basically it is a birthing method of self relaxation and self hypnosis (thats not the best description lol but I will try and explain better in the video lol)
+DanielleMarie lol that is what I am nervous for.. I still have so long to go and am already really big lol, so I can't imagine the size I will be when it comes out =)
Aww sounds like it relaxes you- that's good! The doula I know of is Patti Ramos. I would imagine she is quite expensive as seems to have a lot of experience. I found her email: [email protected]. I've never personally met her, but have talked with her online a bit.
I always fall asleep listening to the cd lol, I never make it to the end of the scripts (really never make it past the beginning lol), I need to do a better job practicing when I am more awake but I am hoping since it does relax me that it will work when the time comes =) We definitely want to use a doula, I would love your recommendation for the doula that you know... we have looked into some here but they are just out of our price range, esp since we already picked out a birth photographer =)
How fun! The babies will be about a year apart :) Unfortunately, I started reading about hypnobirthing at the very end of my pregnancy as I wasn't sure I wanted to do it, so I didn't have much preparation with it. And since it was a rather last-minute plan, I forgot to play any of the cd's in labour except for a small segment towards the end when I was trying to rest/nap a bit as it was a long labour. It put me to sleep, so I think it was successful ;) I had a home birth with a midwife. I've known my midwife for five years (she trained me) and is such an incredible friend that she acted as a doula a lot of the birth. But I couldn't recommend a doula enough! If you can do it, I would HIGHLY recommend it! I know someone I could recommend that lives in or near seattle if you're interested. She also does birth photography if that appeals to you. We have our birth pics and videos on our channel if you wanna take a look at what it's like...
+Chamberlains2Go My estimated due date is September 24th =) How did you like hypnobirthing, I would love to hear how it went for you, I've only seen videos but not heard a lot of personal experiences... Yeah we are using a midwife and going to a birth center, we wanted to have a doula as well but I dont know if that will happen...DId you use a midwife? and/or doula?
