Nxaha the lion has mauled Quinn Terence Swales to death. Once they have
tasted human flesh they will keep going for it. Visitors beware, the lions
will crush your bones with their jaws and tear your flesh apart before
feeding you to their young. Even if you are inside the jeep, they can go
for your back from behind.

Zimbabwe Elephants Poisoned With Cyanide
23 elephants were poisoned with cyanide by suspected poachers in Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park (the same park where Cecil the lion lived).
+Lil Wam LOL< you insult me and then say there is no need for insults? How rich. Listen, insults aside, all animal are a natural resource. YOU, are an animal and are also a natural resource. You have a department at your job called "Human Resources". So don't take offense to the word.As for the scientific need for tusks, lol, what is the NEED for mink fur? NONE! Yet we domesticated and cultivated minks for their fur. We did so to end illegal poaching of wild minks which almost led to their extinction. Now we have millions of minks; they will never go extinct, and dumb bitches can wear their stupid mink coats.Humans have taken this same successful approach with Bison, Manatee, Alligator, Crocodile, and a host of other animals that were once endangered by poaching, and are now safe through human cultivation. That is the only thing that will work. You will NEVER end the human demand for ivory. It has been with us since the age of the cave man. All you can do is satisfy the demand in a way that ends poaching. History has proven me right time and again. Sorry of you don't like the harsh cold reality of this world, but you don't have to like it to accept it.
+Xaro Xhoan Daxos Dude. No need for insults. You can put your point across without your insults. You are very clearly in lala land. Where I grew up these mammals have existed next to human beings with no problems. You're very deluded. They are not a natural resource. Their tusks serve no benefit to humans. And if you have scientific proof of that, please post it here. Why don't you also write to the African & Asian governments where these elephants are native & tell them to breed them & harvest there tusks, since you're very sure of that working You sound like a poacher by the way. Rather than chit chatting online, go & propose your idiotic idea to the rangers in these countries. And then come back to this commentary to tell us the results. :) Better yet, why don't you go & buy & raise an elephant for those exact purposes & tell us the results. Sionara m*******
+Xaro Xhoan Daxos Plus if we find a way to raise elephants and breed them just to cut the ends off their tusks, it may be enough to get them off the endangered list. Think of all the exotic reptile and mammal animals kept as pets. If they were endangered before, they sure aren't now.
+Lil Wam It takes a much longer time to grow Redwoods, yet we harvest Redwood all the time to make stupid shit like decks and tree houses. You will NEVER eliminate human demand for ivory nor will we ever stop the illicit trade of contraband. It didn't work with drugs and it won't work with ivory. So we must fulfill the demand some way to stop poaching. Ivory can be harvested by trained rangers and veterinary doctors without killing the animal. That is pure fact. Plus they grow back. You and assholes like you live in LaLa land where you don't understand human behavior and will continue to see elephants poached into extinction rather than see them as a natural resource like every other animal on the planet - including humans.
+Xaro Xhoan Daxos WTF are you talking about...... Elephants should not be raised for the sole purpose of satisfying a few humans' greed (Chinese & whichever other Asians). Do you you even know how long it takes for elephants to fully grow their tusks? Do you even know the meaning of CULTIVATION? Or are you just a troll trying to get a reaction out of well meaning commentators on YouTube? Whatever it is you're trying to do, at least get your facts straight.
+Mike Stavenes LOL, wut? Your solution is global tyranny. My solution is pragmatic. People will never stop wanting ivory, so instead of forcing them to support poachers, make ivory legally available through cultivation. You're a real dipshit, you know that?
+Xaro Xhoan Daxos WTF are you talking about?Stop looking at the page you've been handed...this is not an assignment.I offered you something real, and you ignored it...that tells me you don't actually give a fu*k about this topic. What's your point? Why are you speaking here? If it's because you were paid to speak...then fu*k off.
+Mike Stavenes The solution is the same as the solution as the war on drugs - end it. Make ivory plentiful and legally available by raising the animals the same way we raise any other animal.
+Xaro Xhoan DaxosThe only lasting solution, is to make international law a reality, and not just an imaginary moral guideline, that you hope will be applied by all parties involved. You would have to adopt a society that governs the entire world......And I'm sure you can already imagine the horrors that kind of justice would create.Freedom is the cost of freedom...Ask me, and I'll give you an alternative. ;-)You might not like it any more than the first choice...but it's better than totalitarianism.
+Jane DoeUnfortunately international law is a convenient myth...you can't go after someone in a country that doesn't consider the purchase of ivory as a crime. Best case scenario, is to disrupt the lines of supply in places where it is illegal to be the supplier.
