"This provides energy to the brain from fat instead of sugar" -Dave Asprey.
It's basic biology that the only way the brain can produce energy is from
glucose.
Your brain can get energy from ketones which come from eating a low carb good fat diet. You don't get that brain fog that can happen from eating higher carb diets where you feel sleepy after meals. They recommend low carb higher fat diets for Alzheimer's patience because the brain is sharper on ketones versus glucose for energy.https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/evolutionary-psychiatry/201104/your-brain-ketones

Getting high quality fats from foods like MCT oil, avocado, chocolate, grass-fed beef, and wild-caught fish can help your neurons communicate efficiently - //www.clevelandclinicwellness.com/food/GoodFats/Pages/BoostBrainPowerwithGoodFats.aspx
what he disregards to mention, is he also takes Modafinil to boost his
productivity and stack nootropics. Along with the Coffee this guy is wired

Quitting smoking is super easy. Weak willed smokers should try fasting( not
eating anything only drinking water) for a few days. Now that would be
hard.
Bulletproof coffee really works. A friend has been sharing his bulletproof
coffee with me over the last few days and the change is mindboggling! It's
like my mind and body are in sync, my thoughts are clearer, my energy level
is great, I've been able to stay up late without any adverse effect. I've
gained an extra 4-5 hours per day, which is a blessing. I'm using the extra
time I've gained to learn a new language.
I have started the Bulletproof diet and love it. What model blender did you
use? I need to buy a new blender and am debating between Blendtec and
vitamix! Which one is better?
I've started eating this way and the fat is just melting off and I feel
fantastic with no cravings! I'm a new person and I love it... Many people
question me and try to argue but my doc even eats this way so there!! Haha
Do not use salted butter for this. Biggest mistake of my life! Also, I put
about a tsp or so of unsweetened cocoa powder in mine. I also recommend
using organic, cold-pressed coconut oil. It's more expensive, but it makes
a noticeable difference in the taste of the coffee.

Are some people more suited for higher carb intake? I have always been
stick thin, and parents switched to eating Paleo, I found it tasty but I'm
always always in dire need of a potato or side of rice. I always feel
better when I'm eating stir fry (noodles, fat, protein, veggies) or
something with lots of variation. I have a very different body than both of
my parents, they seem to thrive on Paleo stuff...
+House of Escobar Yes, there is evidence that certain people thrive on high carb diets, but in others it may cause problems (such as diabetes obesity etc). As long as YOU are healthy then I wouldn't worry about that potato craving.
Hi Leanne. After just 4 weeks - I am definitely leaner on this seemingly
nutty diet. I feel fab. Sleeping a full night!!!! Its all good so far.
Worried about losing muscle mass though....Are there risks that this could
be 'TOO MUCH' of a GOOD THING ? Or its all or nothing?? PS I really miss
eating fruit (oops)
+Thomas N Well, your brain runs on glucose, you need fruit and the carbohydrates from fruit to maintain good mental and physical health. Natural sugars don't spike glucose levels in the same way (to the same degree), they do up your sugar intake, which is a good thing. Unless you have a medical condition like diabetes, you should eat a lot of fruit despite many people's beliefs on here, there is a difference between the natural sugar found in fruits and the sugar found in white bread, cakes, cookies, muffins, etc. At least get a few pieces of fruit in per day :)
+Caroline Keller I could be wrong but I thought eating fruit pushes up sugar intake?Banking on my nutrient requirements from the green beans, brocolli etc
