Most employers are required to subscribe to insurance for workers' compensation, and an employer who does not may have financial penalties imposed, these are great tips and insurance to get!

Not only great tips - you are required in the State of Massachusetts to carry Workers Compensation if you have employees.

I have cigna insurance and have watched so many videos here that Im afraid it will be denied. I have degenerative arthritis in my neck that causes numbness and tingling in my hand. I also an RN and this makes my job difficult. My PCP said he would write a letter of recommendation for me. What is the pain like afterwards?

I will have my surgery on Jan. 11. I will post how my pain is afterwards...As long as your pain ad tingling has been documented and what the reasons are behind the pain, then you should be approved.You really have to communicate with your PCP. They need to refer you out to a surgeon to get looked at.

You are so welcome! I'm glad I can help someone else out. I was scared and nervous in the beginning. Plus I had to go through the surgery by myself due to my husbands demanding military work schedule. Good Luck with your doctors appointment next week.

No I didnt have any problems. My primary care doctor gave me a referral to see a plastic surgeon. Then the plastic surgeon submitted the authorization to Tricare(my insurance) and it was approved. Took about 2 days for approval.

Im excited for you! You got the process started. Your first visit with the surgeon is very imformative. Make sure you write out a list of questions so you are sure to ask him any and everything you can think of.

thank you, i saw my doctor abd she gave me a referral i go to meet a surgeon in 2 weeks on the 22nd for a consult...
