Zodiac Vortex 1 bad operation of pool robot
This Zodiac Vortex 1 pool robot does not work as expected. It spends more time on the wheel side making pirouettes than cleaning the pool bottom.
Sorry if this has been asked already, but in order for AI to spell the end
of the Human race, would AI have to become self aware first? Also, Stephen
Hawking is suggesting that AI will supersede us, but will it commit
genocide on the Human race and intentionally destroy us?
+Sam Feinsilver Typically it would need to become self aware, but there are probably other scenarios where it would interpret hard coded 'threats' as all humans as well. And the second answer is yes it would commit genocide and think nothing of it. Exactly the same way we feel about bulldozing a colony of ants.
AI is scary. I would recommend watching Ex Machina as soon as possible. I
just watched it and man does it scare me. I saw it at the end as a way of
showing us a possible future. The end is only a tiny possibility and our
imagination can create many others. Obviously the creator isn't the
smartest and to me doesn't fit someone who would be that smart to create
what he did. I'm trying to not spoil anything. So let me create a scenario.
Imagine humans create AI to be like us. Actually, scrap that. Just watch
Animatrix and see the origin of The Matrix. See how AI became and how it
fought for rights. How it became smarter within just months. We could
create ways to disable AI in case of it becoming dangerous but AI, the way
we want it to be, would eventually be able to outsmart us and find a way to
disable any way we created to stop them. They would eventually become so
smart we wouldn't comprehend what they want, think, say or do. It could
mean the end of us being the dominate species but most importantly it could
mean our extinction if they see fit. Why keep us when they can eliminate
all threat and create their own version of AI that would actually be safe.
The AI could improve itself forever most likely but not us. And they could
find ways to assure being the dominate race for almost eternity probably.
That's the worst case scenario that I can think of right now. They could
also help improve and evolve while they evolve at a faster rate and keep us
around just for fun. I doubt it would be like Mass Effect where all races
interact and humans are still relevant. Humans would be irrelevant and
probably will be as soon as we find life already more advanced than us in
this universe we live in. It's late and I'm thinking a lot but this is
good. Hope this helped someone think too. And our future goes beyond our
world we've created ruled by powerful people and companies. I wish we would
work on our race and exploration out there. Everything has a cost because
that's how we wanted it to be. But imagine us just helping each other
achieve something epic! For the greater good. Sadly it can't all be roses.
There are greedy people out there, people not smart enough. Just not born
smart who will never think beyond what they are told and what they see.
People who don't question our world, system and way of life. People who
aren't very curious. And that can hold us back and that's what could cause
wars. We would have those that wanna carry them and those that see them
unfit for our future. They just pose a roadblock and having them reproduce
won't help us become a better race. Only the smartest would prevail and
would lead humanity to its future. So should we help them? Or eliminate the
tinted? The black sheep. We will see when the day comes. Maybe not us, but
the ones that come after us. The day will come where the more capable,
smarter people will wanna leave the unfit behind and keep advancing. Or
keep them for some other use. I can't say. I don't know the future. I do
know that stupid people and religions are holding us back. Our system based
on money too.

+Isaiah Vargas don't feel bad man I seen a Charlie Brown one where everyone does due to the great pumpkin it was anger inducing how dare they leave Charlie Brown alive and kill Linus and Snoopy although I didn't mind they killed lucy
+Isaiah VargasIt's a strange concept I will give it that but really, it's just a bout of dark humor... and admittedly this wasn't for everyone but of course, this was the first season so they still haven't found their stride yet.
+Sora The Keyblade masterIt's perfectly fine, everyone has their own reaction to this sketch and that's fine, even I'll admit that watching this especially after getting back into Scooby Doo is somewhat... shocking but it's usually fine when you just tell yourself and remember that these are just toys and that they're not really the characters.
+Isaiah Vargas It's a fucked up sight for sure, seeing that Scooby head on a pike when I was younger (Not as young mind you but still pretty young), I had night-terrors about that but now that I'm older... I can appreciate the sketch much more and it has quickly become one of my favorites even though if you ask me, Mystery Not Incorporated, the skit that came later was a TON more funny than this.
+Isaiah Vargas Well it did have the TV-MA rating and it's clearly meant to be a parody so to be honest, it did kind of warn you that you were about to see some shit.
