congrats!!! I'm Taiwanese and now studying in the US. I really miss the health care in Taiwan so much. People in the US have to pay so much for those stuff lol. Enjoy ur new life without eyeglasses!

$40,000 NTD = $1300 USD for both eyes is much less than what my friend paid a few years ago in Silicon Valley.

I am not sure if it is because I have health insurance here but all health care is much much cheaper than the states. It has been on my bucket list for a long time and I knew I wanted to get it done while in Taiwan.
