I personally still ate animal flesh even after watching these slaughterhouse videos, even though it brought so much shock and emotion out of me. For me to care about the animals, I had to actually take care of myself and that was foreign to me. Someone once said that it's not that people don't care about animals, they just have a list of things that they have to take care of: responsibilities and stress like keeping a roof over their head, feeding their family, real trauma, ect. And it's hard, and then we also have to take into consideration the animals and the environment, can be overwhelming for some. One can say that's just an excuse, which is true, but not everyone has it all figured out, you know what I mean. That's why I like to share my perspective on this topic. If it wasn't for someone mentioning raw foods and plant nutrition, I would have never eventually fall into veganism. :P How did it happen for you??

+Thrill Thrill Conditioned, absolutely! Some people just don't have an understanding, or broader perspective when it comes to the ethics of veganism. It's normal to believe that some animals are considered pets and others food because that's what they have been taught repetitively without knowing or understanding that this belief/ behavior has been conditioned by society. @kenfo0 Since at the time I was doing this research (not mine) I was an undergrad and the sucess/failure of said project did not affect me financially. The research started out in 1986, and is a long term observational study until today, and is funded by a university. The patient does not pay for our "second" treatment, only for the regular cobalt irradiation which is payed for by regular insurance. So your personal attack is uncalled for. @Wazabooz Water contains hydrogen. This is the key to replacing oil and gas, is to find a way to split the water molecule to separate the hydrogen from the oxygen. Once that is accomplished, it's easy enough to refit most any engine to run on hydrogen. I used to be heavily involved in inventing years ago. :) Presently, there are cars that run on hydrogen, but there is a serious danger problem of storing the hydrogen. Split the molecule at the spark plug, and that problem is solved. :)

Ha, an RF electrolyzer, cool trick but this has been around for year. You have to put at least as much energy into splitting the Hydrogen and Oxygen via radio frequency energy as you'll ever get out of burning the "saltwater." It's a neat trick but alas useless. @Wazabooz Likely it is the process of converting H and O back into water that drives the car, that this is where that energy is expended. :) One thing for use, the huge oil companies like Exxon would hate to see such a low cost process be invented, since it would mean cars no longer have to run on gasoline. There is no such thing a "free" energy. In order to generate the hydrogen out of that salt water you have to break apart the water molecules. The energy needed to break up the water molecules is provided by the radio waves, Unfortunately it cost you more energy to generate the radio waves than you get back burning the hydrogen. ..... There are tons of inventions and cancer cures that are suppressed by big business and our governments. They want control and need us to believe they are the way to salvation. What this means in practice, is that your spark plug will consume as much energy as you'll ever get back from burning the resulting hydrogen. There will be NONE left over to power the car.
