I have that same doppler. This is my third pregnancy and I'm also plus
sized. I didn't get the heartbeat until about 10 or 11 weeks. Even then, it
took like 15 minutes of searching. I had twins and have a lot of extra skin
on my stomach that gets in the way. I'm thinking of starting a pregnancy
vlog soon. I am 18 weeks today, and wish I could have started sooner. Glad
I came across your video, I also plan on getting my IBCLC. Working on my RN
now, though.

that is so weird - my page shows Uploaded by duckduckgosling on Jan 19,
2011. midwives are generally more geared toward natural birthing with
little interventions. also you mostly get to spend more time with them
during visits and your labor because they carry less patients. my midwife
was with me for the majority of my labor which was so helpful because she
acted almost like a doula as well (plus the other two doulas and my DH - it
was great!)

congrats on your pregnancy and your weight loss ! I'm about 8 weeks along
but I haven't gotten to do my ultrasound yet. I hope you have a very
healthy pregnancy!

What are the benefits about using a midwife versus a regular OBGYN? The
video says it was uploaded on 4/6/12 but it has comments from last year.
