Benefits of a Vegan Diet. Healthy Plant Based Vegan. My Story
Hi everybody. I am super passionate about plant based diet. It provides so many amazing benefits in all aspects of life. I explain further in the video. I hope you ...
Thanks for sharing! I stumbled on your channel and watched this video with
a story almost identical to mine... It's always a good reminder to see that
other people go through similar situation and improved their life going
HCLF vegan. Over a year for me already and not looking back! For curiosity,
where is your accent from?
+Jose Noto Ardanuy Thank you! and yes it is true. Plant based diet is amazing. I wish more people would be able to see it/try it out :) I am from Estonia :)
My whole life is improving since I started my vegan life style. The brain
fog is at last lifting. My Energy levels, happiness, fitness and well being
are all improving everyday.
I like your story and I'm looking forward to hearing more about your
lifestyle. I'm new to this way of eating and love to hear any tips you may
have on the types of food you eat and how your friends and family respond
to your change.
+Angela Dobrzynski Thank you so much Angela!! :) Great idea...I will definitely share that in one of my next videos :) xo
The Benefits Of A Vegan Diet ♥ Why I'm Vegan
Being vegan I get asked a lot of questions all the time. Why are you vegan? How do i transition into veganism? What on earth do you eat? Are you going to marry ...
I really want to go vegan but it's difficult as I live at home with my
family who (although they are vegetarian) eat lots of cheese etc and don't
want me to be vegan as they don't think il be getting enough nutrients as
we can't afford lots of fruits because they are expensive to buy in England
and aren't sourced locally:(
+May Bullough I know what u mean when ur in an area where its more difficult to be vegan, however, by giving up dairy products like cheese you won't be missing out on any nutrients and vitamins as the same nutrients can be found in veggies ex. broccoli. Veggies are great to stock up on as they're easier to get than some fruits during the winter times especially. Do what makes u feel good, if you have questions about nutrients theres tons of vegan sites online that will help u understand the in and outs. Ive included some links below in this video that u can check out to learn more about it. Eat what makes ur body thrive not what others tell u u should eat ;).
I just stumbled accross your channel and WOW! I'm so glad I did :) You are
wonderful, spiritual, positive, beautiful and vegan :) You are everything I
aspire to be plus I'm planning to move to costa rica in a year or two. It
really seems like a magical place! Much Love xx
+kim decary awe thanks Kim u are the sweetest! Thats amazing that you're wanting to move to Costa Rica, its my favourite place in the world...let me know if you have any questions with your move, I might be able to help u with some pointers ;)
+Allisonxox Hi Allison!! I'm so happy u like my videos, my mom mentioned you do them a lot and I'm so proud of you for sticking to them. Keep it up <3 <3 <3
You are beautiful and you look AWESOME!!!
I am 51 years old, I started only about one year ago to have a better diet
and eat mostly vegan.
You are a great inspiration for all woman...I follow and I love doing your
quick Cexercize ;))
+Sonia Daigle awe thank you so much for such kind words Sonia! Im so happy to hear you've started a heathier lifestyle, I hope you started to feel a difference in the way u feel. A lot of people when they first go vegan notice a great increase in their energy levels! Keep doing what you're doing and thank you so much for your sweet words <3
Hi,
I would really like to start eating a plant based diet but I'm not much of
a veggie fan. Do you guys have any tips for me because I'm very picky with
my veggies.
+Leah Blackburn try adding cayenne pepper, mix up cooking your veggies with olive oil and coconut oil. Also, try adding basil, it is great to add to veggie stirfries and garlic powder or fresh garlic is great too!
+Leah Blackburn start experimenting with different ways and spices to cook your veggies with. Mix them up with yummy sauces to get your veggies more favourable. :)

Listen LizY, I feel you should be a student of nutrition rather than
nurture your ego as a fount of information. You really need to go within
and learn experience no need to speak indeed it seems to me it is
counterproductive spend a few years finding yourself and then once your
churning and confusion/fog have lifted ie after you have had your mental
detox you have spent some time real quality time with a first class teacher
then you will know and you may inform others rather than disinform...
I'll share something interesting- I am a nurse at a VA hospt. and you would
not believe how many vets have B12 def. they are getting the shots and
supplements monthly/daily. Trust me, these guys are not veggie! We used to
get B12 from bacteria on vegetables from the soil- soil has changed and we
clean our food. The vets get free health care and blood tests- our docs
said that many of the pop. is B12 def.- we just don't get tested. Animals
we eat to get B12 are Vegetarian How did they get it?
Geez ever heard of spirulina or goji, or golden berries etc etc theres tons
of vitamin b12 at levels ranging from 100% to 2000% of your daily
recommended amount, which is simply incredible, and you might say well to
get at those levels youd need to eat a lot of those types of foods, that is
not the case, but the more of the superfoods you eat the healthier you do
get, its just sad this lady went about raw veganism the wrong way, and
ended up not trusting the healthiest lifestyle known to man
You don't have to be vegan. However vegetation needs to make up majority of
the diet. It is easier to obtain certain nutrients from meats as they are
more concentrated. Meat eaters in nature are often smarter, and faster.
Cholesterol and saturated fat do have roles in brain development and
hormonal output. Vitamins are often not found in meats though, as well as
certain minerals. I believe that if you make 70% of your plate
fruits, vegetables and grains, you can eat 30% meats.
B12 is not absorbed well in supplements. The thing I do not like when
people compare us to vegetarian animals is that the big/strong vegetarian
eat all day, and eat tons of vegetation. Humans often do not eat all day,
and what human consumes tons of spinach, and broccoli every day. If you did
that you would obtain a lot of nutrients. Vegetarian animals often eat all
day to get nutrition meat eaters tend to eat once in a while, and then
sleep to digest.
Really? I managed to get my Body Fat down to 6% with the high fat-high
protein-low carb approach to nutrition. Also I could start competing in
Powerlifting and MMA contests succesfully. All that I wrote in the post b4
was nothing more than a short summary of Dr. Mauro Dipasquales Studies(well
very short ;)) Wheres your scientific evidence for the positive effect of
vegan nutrition on athletic performances? Or a healthier lifestyle? No hate
brother.
@heidiheidi0 The problem there is that I rarely eat alone :P I either eat
with friends or then my family, but when I do eat alone then yeah I eat
fruits, salads, nuts etc :) and we get lunch at school, so I don't really
have a choice there either. Oh and I eat plenty of fruits and veggies. :D I
don't eat much else except those and meat, but thanks for the advice! I'll
definitely try and follow it! :) :)
hey! could u make a video about the part where u said "thats another
video"? haha im 16 years old but often and very tired drink a lot of coffee
and am on adderrall. but i often feel very tired and groggy this summer i'm
really trying to make lifestyle changes- so changing the way i eat is a big
one and i would like some tips and your experiences with ur diet and not
being as tired.. thanks!!=]
Hello ! I 'm french ! I love your videos ! But i have a question ;) I dont
handerstand if you 'are still Raww food now (2012) ? And if you are, if
it's at 80% or 100% ? i 'm trying the Raw Food diet for since 5 weeks now.
I had a big difficult detox, but now i feel so weel ! Have you all this
good efects on beauty imidietely, or did you have those after many months ?
Thanks for you're answer !
@soonnic well I cook a lot for the family in general and it would just be
more of a hassle and my parents don't really like the whole idea of this
lifestyle. I guess they're traditional in the way that they like their meat
etc. and they don't want me to start it. Its not just about making the food
that my mom has a problem with, its about what I would eat. Get what im
trying to say? :D
The only thing that baffles me with a low fat vegan diet, is that things
like avocado, olives & olive oil have been proven countless times to be
insanely beneficial to our bodies; yet they are naturally high in fat. I
eat vegan, high carb, but I wouldn't say I was low fat or high fat. . .just
medium fat. If it's natural fats, I can't see how they can be bad.
Why cant ppl just try going vegan for like a week or two and feel the diff
in their body, instead of being terrified. I got several health issues, n
when I went vegan (and mostly raw), everything was gone, not even a slight
migraine. And I'm more energized than I've ever been before, plus I never
experience bloating like when i was still eating meat.
the only reason that people on this diet are going to lose weight is
because they are getting their carbs only from fruits and vegetables. I did
the same thing but my diet was high fat low carb (meaning i got all my
carbs from fruits and veggies but stayed away from simple carbs like sugar
and white flour and pasta). l lost over 20 lbs in 5 weeks.
hi liz! thanks for the vid on your experience w the raw vegan diet. i
really love hearing your perspective. do you think you could increase the
volume on your videos in the future? i have my computer and the youtube
window at max volume and it's a little soft to hear w the usual noise
around the house. thanks and keep sharing your view with us! :)
@TheLilmissmel Sure! I am undecided about having children but if I were to
become pregnant I would continue to eat this way and up my calories. My
doctor agrees that my diet and lifestyle are very healthy. Honestly, it
takes no discipline for me to eat this way... I simply eat what I love and
what loves me back! (: Wish you all the best! xx
Some of the longest living cultures have higher carb diets. The Asian diet
is mainly carb and vegetable based yet many places in Asia has a high life
span. The high protein diet people tend to have lower life spans, in fact
the Eskimos who eat a lot of fish and almost no vegetation have a life span
of around 30 years.
Ouch. I'm sorry but your Video is total crap. Vegan nutrition is the wusses
way out. Your body needs meat for muscle growth & to burn more fat. The
High Carb-Low Fat approach will make you fat & week. Check out the anabolic
diet by Dr. DiPasquale. Theres a reason why our ancestors ate meat-it's
called survival...
@kaboom989 My advice would be to eat a HUGE breakfast before traveling.
Bananas and dates have the most calories per bite and therefore will give
you the most energy. Dates travel really well. That´s what I would take.
Just make sure you´re drinking lots of water with them so they digest well!
(: Have fun! xx
