snsd's unique sound is taeyeon and jessica singing together. in the
choruses of their studio recordings, 99% of the time, only taeyeon and
jessica's voices are used because they're the main vocals. i.e. if you
listen closely to the album version of mrmr, you'll only hear two voices -
taeyeon's and jessica's.
so... now that jessica is not in snsd anymore, snsd has lost that distinct
"sound" that martina was talking about (and that a lot of fans also realize
and love)... things will never be the same
+SMAnthonyW OMG i was about to say the SAME THING. Martina and Simon were like "The unique sound bla bla bla" And i was like, "You mean Jessica and Taeyeon siging together? Yes, i missed that in IGAB." Pretty much ALL choruses are just Jessica and Taeyeon blending. The other day i was listening to Complete and i was really shocked that it was EXTREMELY obvious in that song. It´s all Jessica and Taeyeon. SNSD´s signature sound are just Jessica and Taeyeon and now that Jessica isn´t anymore i´m afraid that the sound it´s gone forever. A pity.
+2kda15 lol no I know what you're talking about, some lines at the end of the chorus deliberately have two combinations of members singing at once or one member singing overlaying the main chorus, like Jessica and Sunny before the bridge for example. I'm talking about the main chorus lines "deo dangdang hage neon, mistah mistah" and "nal gaseum dwige han, mistah mistah" which are the real chorus lines :) not only in this song but in all others where there is an "[all]" chorus, i only hear taeyeon and jessica so
LOL nono don't worry xD I'm sure there are some soshi songs out there where tiffany, seohyun, or sunny's voice comes out but in almost all snsd songs, i only hear taeyeon and jessica in the chorus or hook parts XDDD
+SMAnthonyW holy shit you're right. Lol sorry about that. You can tell because tiffany and seohyun have deeper voices and sunny has a very distinct voice. My bad, I can be a wise ass at times
haha omg i was like watching this while doing sth diffrent and then ... BOOM ... I was like "OMG WAS THIS TURKISH?" Iaughted so hard. xDI am turkish too and it really made my day ;)
NO!!! The best year is 2012 and that's when I started getting into KPOP.
Hee hee~ I knew about KPOP but I never liked it until 2012. Even then I did
not start liking it cuz of the release of 2012 songs but more like the OST
of BOF which then made me look at KPOP from a whole different way.
Gotta disagree with you here. In my opinion, the earlier years (first and second generations) were the best years of Kpop. Music and videos were more diversed and authentic back then. 2011-2013 had a slight decline but it seems like things are starting to pick up again since mid/late 2013.
Hold UP! I'm hearing the lyrics were bad b/c the song was written in
English then translated to Korean?!? HAHA, no. Bad lyrics are bad lyrics
regardless of language. Garbage in garbage out. Also, what's this about the
MV being bad b/c the video was lost? Fans should not accept half ass
effort if all of this is true. With that being said, I like the music and
the girls looks great and classy.
its probably the fans making excuses. kpop fans can get pretty hardcore especially when people say bad things about a song...J.Reyez and that other guy translated Taeyang's wedding dress to english and it still made perfect sense guys so there.. and why was the song written in english in the first place? too much excuses that dont make sense =.='

In Korea you are year older or two year older than you are the U.S (I assuming that you mean the U.S by saying "us") So..Take for yours year born and add 1 more year (example:2012 – 1990 + 1 = 23)
I agree korean drama are predictable, you have the rich kid poor girl, the
bad boy good girl, the one thats alone after parents death and finds out
he/or she's rich and meets a rich person, the one where one of the family
members kills the parents and he/she come for revenge, family rivalry for
the company and last but not least the bad guy vs the good guy which we all
know as the famous love triangle
+tochjo772 i disagee. its like a really bad script but the producers know that naive young girls are going to love it. so its not creative, innovative, nor insightful, just money-making
+Asher woodman She didn't say She has a fetish for a specific race just because She said these guys were cute, doesn't mean she likes every asian, right?
+Asher woodman Duh! My point is you can't do anything about that. And to assume she has a fetish without proof is insulting and wrong. There is always someone who will find you cute when others find you ugly. Doesn't mean she has a fetish, unless she herself told you that.
+Asher woodman ugh. Get over it. People have fetish for Black people, too. People have fetish for anything. People have fetish for crayons. Getting mad over something like that is a waste of time. At least she is not insulting them or making fun of them. And you shouldn't assume she has a fetish.
My school used to do that butt thingy a year ago, it was weird... Now some
people go around touching ppl's nipples... Or touching their own...
Weirdly... (all guys)
That finger in the butt thing is done here too! So weird! When I was in
high school, the soccer boys would do that to the new soccer boys (like
hazing) all the time, and it got so bad that one of the new soccer boys
filed a law suit against them because it caused him to walk weird and
bleed!!! They went to court and everything. It was a serious issue
I think it's sad that Koreans drink so much alcohol, it's such a
destructive drug. I would much prefer it if Koreans were hardcore magic
mushroom or MDMA users - but sadly I doubt many Koreans have experienced
these uplifting, euphoric drugs. They're still in the dark, consuming vast
quantities of alcohol, obviously in an attempt to numb the pain of their
relentless academic/working lives...
