There's a size discrepancy because companies perceive Americans to be fat
idiots who will buy anything that gives them more quantity (since here in
'Merica More = Better).
wow lady your a fat idiot! how dare you insult Americans AND NO WE WONT BUY JUST ANYTHING! i love makeup and i don't buy Chanel i think there is better quality makeup out there and i also am not fat.. you sound so ignorant keep your rude comments to your self! get an education!
They have released new formulas last week Wayne. They have more product in
them, are more highly pigmented and they have removed the talc from the
original formula, which caused the fall out etc. I agree with you though,
why should we get less product and pay more? Chanel should address this
immediately, even though i do love their products
Because all the chemicals and poisons that are banned in Europe (and
everywhere else in the world) are not banned in America. Our food and drug
association does not monitor what is in our cosmetics and body care. A lot
of these chemicals used in the US are cheap fillers, dyes, and
preservatives which may be the real reason why some products (and food) are
larger and cheaper. It's disgusting really... So much for "land of the
free".... What a joke.
US is not tht behind if we gon talk abt banning chemicals... CANADA in fact is like 5 yrs behind, compared to US. and Yes, we pay much more on any products. And YES, shipping is much more harder in Canada, like US dont have great Canyon (geographical limitation perhaps?) or whatever it is makes shipping hard.
+Heather McDonald I am with you on the GMO front, but have to wholeheartedly disagree with your MSG nonsense. MSG is a natural substance and any food that naturally contains glutamate can convert that to MSG during cooking. One of the largest consumers of MSG in the world is Japan (it's in almost everything) and it is literally illegal to be fat there and they have one of the healthiest and longest living populations in the world. So your notion that it triggers some kind of feeding frenzy sensation, or causes headaches, or anything else of the sort is anecdotal at best.

+Sahar Khalil Sorry to hear that. The other 30,000 + people that have been following these instructions had no issues at all. Not only are these instructions followed by my viewers but also all the Chanel stores in Dubai, Canada and my home town of San Francisco, are using my techniques to help customers. Maybe just maybe you did something wrong?....

I'm not a huge fan of ELF brushes, but there are a few I like and one of
them is the "C" shadow brush specifically for my creme shadows. It's very
unique, narrow one way and wide the other with a nice curve to the edge..
fluffy and soft yet really dense and firm. I find it perfect for tapping
the end into the color and buffing it on in light layers, blends cremes
beautifully. It's so dense it holds its shape with cremes and does not
absorb the product. Plus it's cheap which is always nice.
@crazysalsa16 Thanks so much for the hair compliment! I've been using a
combination of about 6 different shampoos, but probably around then it was
the Lush Big Shampoo maybe with some Macadamia Oil Treatment as
conditioner... Change it up every day- but would also add that I always
style with heat protectant, oil (Kerastase sample I have or else Moroccon),
and an ionic hairdryer- helps keep the heat down whilst still doing a fast
job drying and keeping things shiny- hth , Jodi : )
@luckyyou8888 Definitely more bouncy mousse-y than the infallibles. The
infallibles are so beautifully creamy powders and you can pick em up pretty
easy compared to these Chanels. Do love the colours though and the
versatility and depth of the chanel shades. You really can use the one
colour all over the lid for a complete look- they blend out to something
just as beautiful as the 'packed-on' shade. Love them so much I picked up
the other 3 colours since filming this. gorgeous!!
@isiartdotcom Aw thanks Isi! Sooo lucky- Australia is so beautiful and I
love Perth where I live. It really is paradise in so many ways and it's
easy to forget it when you live somewhere how lucky you are! I'll
definitely do something like that- maybe I'll do a FOTD in traffic if it's
standstill one day. Oh wait, I don't think I'm ever in standstill traffic
anymore now I live in WA! ha ha- don't miss that. Seriously, will work on
something like a tour though : )
@MissHanaG Well if the boyfriend comments- say no more! That Illusoire is
gorgeous! and so verstalie- that's one you could use all over lid, in
crease or even as a subtle liner. Haven't used it as liner yet... Will give
that a try. Epatant is my next one- I think of it as a cool version of
Illusoire- beautiful! Thanks Hana- hope you have a beautiful week too, Jodi
xo
I love these shadows from Chanel but I've also had problems figuring which
brush to use to get Ebloui to apply nicely (the others don't seem to be as
much of a problem) and I've actually found that my finger seems to work
best for that particular colour. Thanks, Jodi, for all your lovely and
informative videos!
aaaaaah, still trying to catch up on everything YT. AWESOME tutorial/review
and haul. LOVE LOVE LOVE that you have swatched for those who want to
create the look but don't have the exact product. LOVE the review too.
Everyone should do it this way :). I am really loving Epatant and
Illusoire.
This is such a nice look. So glad you posted this. I wasn't aware that
Chanel had creme shadows. Guess I must go shopping more often!! I don't buy
a lot of Chanel but the few things I have I love. I always look forward to
seeing your smiling face. Thanks for sharing. Hugs!! Janie
@SusieQ1828 That's one of my first memories of 'feeling' I was home when we
moved back to Oz after 8 yrs in the US- waking up and hearing those aussie
birds in the trees. I didn't realize I hadn't heard that in 8 years- and it
felt as comfy as a warm doona on a cold day.
I didn't buy Epatant on Friday as I THOUGHT a loose shimmer from Smashbox
that came out with the Wicked/Lovely collection would look the same. Not
even close! Soooo back to the Chanel counter to pick it up! LOL the colors
you're wearing suit you well ;)
@jodik76 Lol I caved and ordered the Topkapi palette today and also
Illusoire. I blame you!!! :) I am now officially withoholiding on anymore
Chanel purchases as there maybe another trip in Feb to
Sephoooooorrrraaaaaaa. Hehehehehe
I just had a makeover with John Fussell from the US Pro Team at my local
counter and he layered Epatant Cream Shadow over Noir/Ivoire Duo for a full
on smoky eye. Way too intense for midday but sooooo gorgeous!
Great tip for the paint pots. You are so clever with your make-up tricks!
btw...I think it's a great idea to put up a little tour video to show off
our beautifully diverse country. Arn't we lucky? X Isi
@ChristasWorld Thanks Christa- couldn't help it- went back and picked up
the 3 remaining colours- so gorgeous! Thought I didn't want the 'white-ish'
one until I started layering it on things.... ; )
@MsGoddessintraining Hey thanks babe- Caved and bought the other 3 the
other day- gorgeous!! Also picked up the Perfection Lumiere- really liking
it a lot! Haven't worn Epatant yet- maybe tomoz xx
@AroraLaurialis Yep, they're Aussie birds- either crows or magpies. I don't
usually see too many outside, but love that you can hear them in the vids!
Hope they're not too distracting!
Great look! So pretty. Loved hearing the birds in the back-ground a couple
of times. For an Aussie living in America it's a nice treat! I forgot how
much I missed hearing the birds!!
Great tutorial....gorgeous as always! Just a few more products to add to my
purchase list this week, I really should stop watching these videos :)) xoxo
