Thank you Cathy because I was trying to get the Keratin treatment for my natural but after hearing this..I don't think so..guess I will have to start pressing my hair. Question: What type products do you recommend that you have researched for natural black hair.

My hair is doing great. I haven't noticed any damaged and I have less shedding with my hair straight than I do when it's in it's natural curl state. When you was your hair it still curls up some what but it's way more manageable. For me, i'd say it's better than a relaxer because it's not permanent so I get to have the best of both worlds but if you only want straight hair all the time a relaxer may be better for you. Hey Natalie!! I'm gonna claim that shout out! Girl, you're not gonna believe...I've been down for the count I've actually threw my back out. Whats crazy I did it by sittin (too many hours) crocked at my laptop. I've got the Revlon curling iron. I swear it eats my hair! When my Revlon has finished dinning on my locks a Hot tool will be in my buggy! At Ulta I actually bought a set of hot rollers, it has really cut down the heat stress I've subjected my hair to in the pass. XOSara

I feel so stupid. I did NOT know the SPF number meant how frequently to reapply. When I use sunscreen (which is usually never) I just put it on once and forget about it. Hmmmm.. You learn something new everyday.
