Flat Foot Surgery Recovery: 4th Week Update

It's been 4 weeks since I've had flat foot surgery done on my right foot. I made this video to give you some updates on myself since I made my previous video.

+Kesha Fee I hope your pain goes away soon Kesha! This surgery is not an easy one to go through....I am definitely not looking forward to my second go-around...but at least I'll know what to expect!

I'm now out of my cast, and you're right the REAL pain has just arrived. Sigh.... I'm free of the cast, but this pain is crazy.

I am 64 years old and will receive shoulder replacement surgery At a VA hospital possible in January. I received a cat scan yesterday and will receive an MRI December 14, 2015. I have consultation January 7, 2016. I lifted heavy weight (Power Lifting) until I was 45 years of age. I have continued to lift heavy using machines. My question is this: Can I continue to weight lift after replacement?

THANK YOU FOR SHARING. I broke my ankle a month ago, had surgery a week later and I am still in a full leg splint, leg elevated 24/7, throbbing and pain is unbelievable..WORST INJURY EVER.. I'm always saying ouch like you. I need to get one of those leg bag covers. I've been sponge bathing and washing my hair in the sink. I'm afraid to get moisture on or in my splint. I will try to shower soon. I am still in the beginning stage. THANK YOU AGAIN. I appreciate ur video & have a speedy recovery.

I broke my ankle in a bathroom sixs month ago and regardless insurance issue I just has recent surgery and its my first week after I got it done have to easy I am know learning how to walk again and that it hasn't been easy and I myself was still trying to figure out how to shower and how to get in the tub I been taking sponge bath and washing my hair in the sink wish isn't very helpful but its manageable so I thank you as well for sharing it

I agree very helpful. I broke mine at work and I'm tired of stinking. Doc says no weight on the ankle for 3 months. Wait did I say that right. Yea 3 months :(.

yes... it is difficult... you really captured the pain that it is! I broke my ankle 7 weeks ago and it has been challenging but getting better day by day.

I had ankle surgery and had to use that same shower cover and HATED it because my leg lost feeling and turned blue from the lack of circulation!!!!
