Another way, if you can't lose the zombies, there is a glitch where if you sit in a tree or a big bush when zombies are attacking you, they will not be able to hit you. They will still be agro, but it saves you a lot of blood and it's also really effective since you can't do the methods in this video if you are in a PVP firefight

Here is another method. If you spot a few bushes lined up, run through them. The zombies stop at each to reaquire you, at which point you gain more and more distance. The more bushes, the further you can get till you can maybe crest a small hill or get more than 300 meters from them.

Will you be making a guide on zeroing, or just sniping in general? I'm still trying to learn sniping, took me awhile to figure out you have to adjust the zeroing thing. But then you gotta guesstimate how far away someone is, which is also a bit difficult.

If you are in the forrest you can run into a pine tree ( The darkest green tree with prickly leafs ) and stand / crouch as close to the middle as you can , the zombies cant attack you and also they lose interest after about 45 seconds :) Hope this helps!

Is there a trick to losing sight of the zombies when they have super speed, when you don't have a house or hill to hide in? The zombies always find me when I turn a corner for example, even though they lost sight of me and i've moved since

he also said they will take the most direct route to you so if you run left and right the zombies will run straight up the hill, if you run diagonally on its own then the zombies will take the direct route and run diagonally too

when you crouch in large shrubs and pines, zombiew cannot see you but you can still attack them. they will walk right up to you with out aggroing which makes them easy to kill, especially usefull with melee and silenced weapons.

Nice work, your double door method is definitely something I will be giving a try. Another fun method is to zigzag down a steep incline, causing them to fall to their deaths trying to run straight off it.

I tested it and although I followed your directions, the zombies were able to follow me for about 5 minutes with no problem at all. They were right behind me. Eventually I gave up and let them eat me. :D

what a pussy... whats the points in playing if u just goin to disconnect when zombies are chasing / when people are shooting you the only time its ok to disconnect is when u know these a hacker around

I understand the zombies being fast because otherwise there would be no challenge but I think theyre too fast now. I'd like it if you were just slightly faster than a zombie but not by too much

on or besides a steep hill- run down the high part of it making sure zombies run behind, they run faster than you and will end up falling and killing themselves.don't work on crawlers tho.

going down a steep hill causes them to either fall and die or move very slowly too, you can run quickly straight down (but risk injury if there is a small ledge) or you can zigzag

They are kind of a bother. Loot all the items in the same loot pile the bag is in, then move away, and when you move back the backpack should be available to pickup

You can also hide very well in medium-sized firs (not the small ones), where the branches reach the ground! Stay close to the trunk and the zombies will lose you!

I'm guessing when they implement the next update the zigzaging up a hill will no longer work? Since they can now run up a hill instead of being forced to walk?

there's also the docks on the southern cities, these docks are safe zones and zombies cannot enter them. Players can still do whatever they want to you though.

I have noticed for some odd reason I can crouch sneak, be about 5-10 feet from 2-4 zombies who can't see me and the first one to spot me is 100 yards away.

If you mean going UP a hill, it still works, you just need to find a steep enough hill. Same with the going down the hill trick, though that is sketchier.

Doubtful. It's in the ARMA 2 engine to run up a hill slowly if you hit it dead on, and zombie should always take the most direct route towards you.

lol, sorry to hear that! As I note at the end of the video, you have to slow them down somehow, like I do by going sideways up hills.

Yes. That's exactly what I did. Maybe the hill was no steep enough? I tried zigzagging but the zombies were still right behind me.

What doesn't work? The reason for the videos is to PROVE that it works, so I am not quite sure what you are trying to say.

You can stand in the tree to de-aggro also. Trees that this works on: Any with low leaves that you can stand inside. And yes, crouching while doing the technique you showed will make it much more effective.
