Basic Beauty : Koji Eye Talk Tutorial
tutorial for koji eye talk, from single eyelid to double eyelid! //www.clubbing9ine.com / //www.ivancheam.com.
@justbeautylemon that is why we can see some white men with ugly asian
girls. people define beauty differently just like caucation people find tan
skin sexy while eastern asian(like Chinese, Japanese, Korean) women see
lighter skin as beauty not because they want to be caucation, but simply
because of the cultural difference. even in south asia like Thailand where
people have natural dark skin, women also want to be light. asian people
think lighter skin looks clean, healthy and upper classed.
ok to stop all the bickering. asian does this to enhance their eyes and
make them look bigger because that's what we consider as beautiful/pretty!
we're NOT TRYING TO LOOK CAUCASIAN OR ANY OTHER NON ASIAN PEOPLE! and most
importantly, NOT EVERY ASIAN HAS MONOLIDS! I myself, have double eyelid
naturally, and they don't look like "typical asian" eyes or whatever. a lot
of non asian people have eyes like me too! so stop everyone that's saying
that we're trying to look caucasian and etc!!!!!!!! xD
Comment One - I'm Caucasian and admit that seeing things like this make me
squirm a bit. Comment Two - That doesn't mean that I don't see the purpose
of doing it, or that I see an issue with it. I'm very glad that somebody
has found a good SIMPLE method of helping other cultures with cosmetic
issues... that take away the better chance of getting surgery done. The
more products cultures have on hand like this to fix slight imperfections,
the less people will ruin themselves with surgery. :)
You know what? People should just shut up about how they are just trying to
look like Western people. Many Asian people also have double lids, and
people DO look a lot more alert and awake with double eyelids. Seriously,
did anyone even consider that? Not everything is about looking American so
just get over yourself. People wear makeup and eyeliner, and mascara to
make their eyelashes longer or to make their eyes to look bigger, yet no
one complains about that, this is the same concept!
don't understand why so many non-asians are getting all worked up about
this. you just have no idea how annoying and limiting it is to have my type
of mono lid where the lash line folds under my eyelid so i have to put a
half a centimetre worth of eyeliner on for it to show up and if i wear
mascara it gets all over my lid. i can't wear fun eyeshadows, just a thick
line of eyeliner that looks weird when i close my eyes or look down b/c its
so thick and it always smudges everywhere
The concept that a Western eyelid is somehow "more beautiful" seems
indicative of a widespread self-hatred of typically Eastern features. It's
like when people of African descent bleach their skin and straighten their
hair. When you start messing with one of the key physical indicators of
your racial heritage, it's not just about "beauty" anymore. It's about
self-acceptance of yourself and your race. You've bought into someone
else's idea of what's beautiful, and it's not you.
@crysmoon This video basically proves it to me. Why would any asian want to
change their eyes if they thought they looked nice? By opening the eyelid
more, they're immitating western eyes. Also I never said being white is
what's attractive.. And wait.. Didn't you JUST say to not criticize asians
for not being attractive? I guess you're doing the same thing you ask other
people not to do to you! Lmao. I guess you proved asians are self-centered
too. Nice going.
I think that no matter how I reply to this video, I will be "wrong". I like
her eyes the way they were before the product. But, I am also an advocate
for natural beauty. I think that people, no matter if they have double
eyelids -or- monolids, tend to look best as the way they were born.
Although, if they are actually needing this product (like how some ppl get
nose jobs to help their breathing) to see better, then I have no arguments
against it.
@happychappy140193 This is way too much of a hassle to compare to eyeliner
or eyeshadow, not to mention asians do this AND use eyeliner, eyeshadow,
etc. So it's not really a valid argument on your part. It's strange how
instead of doing their eyes to enhance their natural eye shape, they have
to CHANGE it into something else more attractive because being asian isn't
attractive, and asians know that. They're just too proud to admit it..
don't criticize Asians for wanting the double eyelid crease. if you have
the capacity to want to criticize girls who do these things or get double
eyelid surgery then you may as well look down to those who do surgery
period. if these girls want to do these things then let them do it. who are
you to judge them and who are you to say what's beautiful when you don't
even understand someone else's concept of beauty or culture.
I'm not asian but my eyes are not normal white person eyes. They look more
like the after.. I just have an extra fold over the inner corner and an
almondy-shape and less defined crease.. I don't think it matters what your
eyelids look like or what your nationality is... They are just eyelids,
lol. But if someone wants to change it, why not. I honestly think mono
eyelids look beautiful.
people are so ignorant. this is just what asians do to increase their eye
size with makeup. another reason people are ignorant is that they must
point out that asians yearn for CAUCASIAN eyes when
INDIANS/AFRICAN-AMERICANS/etc also have double eyelids. stop being ignorant
and start opening up your hearts to other possibilities in the world. you'd
be surprised at how big this earth is.
It's like asking why people prefer curly over straight hair :P or other way
around :P it's preference! I also think that it's because you want
something you don't have... I personally like monolids, I think it's sexy
and I wished I had monolids...maybe because I don't have it :P haha it's a
hard question. And if you ask other asians, you'd probably get different
answers :P
I think some people are way too judgemental on people who make fake creases
with eyelid tape or glue. In my opinion, it's harder to put makeup on with
monolids. Asians don't do it to look "Caucasian". It's a matter of
preference. My eyelids are uneven which makes one of my eyes look bigger
than the other which is why I'm looking for a method to fix it without
surgery.
hmm sometimes its not just to look prettier; its also the fact that double
eyelids lift up the eyes a bit, and so helps someone see better. It always
helps to do eye makeup on eyelids, which is why some asians do that.
Americans do crazy things for beauty as well - heals, plucking eyebrows,
tight dresses, little food on their plates, so its not really that
different..
i was disappointed on this product! one , it is hard to close your eye
since it attaches upper eye skin in between, second, it look unnatural when
u close.. so my friends all asked me if there is problem on my eye... DO U
GUYS KNOW THAT THIS DOUBLE EYE LIDS GLUE IS SAME AS FAKE EYE LASH GLUE ? IT
ONLY COST 3 OR 4 BUCKS AND THIS ONE IS ABOUT 10 ..... WTH
@suzepie At some point it is, but look at it this way; If the makeup
industry can make women feel bad about how they look, they earn tons of
money on just that. Regardless of race, as a human you're brought into the
world growing up, being told that, regardless if you're beautiful, you
should wear makeup, cause there's always something wrong with you.
what i would give to have natural double lids and just a thin line of eye
liner. plus my mum, dad and sister all have double lids so don't flatter
yourselves and tell me i'm trying to look more white. see jinahchae's vid,
"eyeshadow techniques for asian eyes" and she explains diff types of mono
lids. i have the third type - the hooded - eyelid
i was born with double eyelids (my parents have them too.) and im 100%
korean. so i mean why is it "cacuasian" that she is trying to create eyes
similar to mine (that are as "asian" as hers)? plus a lot of the comments
say that her natural "asian" eyes were prettier. are you saying that mine
are not?
