You should check out a brand of diapers called Tushies. They don't have any of the chemicals that regular disposable diapers do, therefore they are much safer for your baby. You can find them at many healthfood stores or order them in bulk directly from the website (plus they offer free shipping). Something I plan to try with my next child is: Diaper Free! The Gentle Wisdom of Natural Infant Hygiene by Ingrid Bauer. The theory sounds solid. Read some customer reviews of the book on Amazon.

There are ones for $7 and there are also some that are more expensive but you don't have to take them apart, you just get the poop in the toilet and throw it in the washer. They aren't that hard and they are way cheaper in the long run. We totaled it and it was like $400 for a waterproof bad to put them in, a diaper bag, 60 something reusable wipes, 36 diapers, 50 inserts and detergent! lol. Anyways we did disposables too haha :)

three words for u ... ITS A GIRL !!!! i can tell u that quite confidently :) although ill look rather stupid if you update and ur like .. ITS A BOY ! lol ! im pretty sure its a girl my baby girls heartbeat has always been around 152-154 bpm .. and i also experienced the dreams of having a boy and then holding a girl .. maybe its just coinidence ?!?! who knows hey ! lol

congrats on week 15! i have been meaning to ask you i know you said that you got pregnant while you were on birth control but you had also said you were sick, my doc told me that if you take any medications that you lower the chances of your brth control from actually working. so i was just wondering if you were on any medicine?? sorry for rambling.

@GabeandJesss i'm 15 weeks pregnant now and i can feel my baby moving inside of me as well :-) i wasn't sure if that might have been it but when i went to the doctor's the other day they said that the baby was moving around alot! I was so happy to know that I can feel my baby moving now. Congrats on everything! Love ur videos

your probably going to be spending alot of time rewashing and refolding all of the baby clothes since youre doing the nursery so soon. im 35 weeks pregnant and i am SO glad i waited until the last trimester to do everything because the nesting instinct kicks in and you go crazy when you have nothing to do.

I don't think the heart beat has anything to do with the gender. My baby's BPM was 155 and I thought it was a girl too, but it turns out he's a little boy =] But I did guess that you're having a girl! I can't wait 'till January when you find out =D Congrats on 15 weeks! i love your videos!

Same thing happened with my son, my girlfriend was on the shot and taking anitibiotics for a toothache, and the dentist never said anything, usually a regular doctor will advise you when they prescribe anything that could affect it but apparently detists dont so be careful

Aww thats great. you never forget the first time you feel the baby kick/move....i remember i was on a crowed quiet bus...and i felt a movement, and made a loud noice, everyone turned and looked lol *blush* its such a cool memory tho. :o)

Haha that's ok! I've heard that too, I wasn't on any kind of antibiotics but I was taking like sudafed and other types of medication to help with fevers and colds. So that may have something to do with it but who knows! =)

Congrats on 15 weeks and feeling your baby move! i didnt start to feel my baby move until after my 20 week scan. you seem so prepared and ready, i am 35 weeks and i still dont even have my crib! i am slacking a little lol

Hey. I'm also about 15 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if it's weird I'm not showing yet. Or do you think it's because I don't have a flat stomach normally? Also I haven't felt any movements yet. Makes me nervous.

Haha I can't wait either! The heart rate is just one of those old wives tales mostly, but my doctor did tell me that there is some medical evidence behind it, so who knows! =)

that a good cam i got the rebel x somthin tooo love it.. ihad clear skin and i had a girll so it depend on ur body how it handle a pregency everyone is different

@SuicideGirlx most people don't show until they are around 18 weeks. i know it's hard not to be nervous, but just keep possitive and see your doctor regularly.

i know right thank god i found out ealry i couldnt take it anymore..lol...you should call your clinic and tell them that you want an ultrasound they might give it to you early....or theres always 3D.....

I'm 15 weeks pregnant now and I had my worst morning sickness week yet. At least it was a fun week since we found out the babies gender!

I would also have to double check the gender after hearing that!!! My last pregnancy I did not 100% trust the lady that did the ultrasound "its a girl or a boy without a penis" did not sound that assuring (for some reason) but had to wait from 19 to 28 weeks to have the 3d ultrasound. Haha! I will def do it again this time to be 100% sure!!! So excited to find out her name!

+jojoaug I didn't believe Bryce was a boy either because the ultrasound tech refused to show me his "parts" on the screen so I paid and had another ultrasound the following week to double check he was indeed a boy!! It was just weird this time because not only was it not there to see but my neighbor actually heard the nurse say it was a girl and not me!

it's amazing how kids just know, my daughter told me with my second daughter and this one that I had a baby in my belly and that she was getting a sister and now a brother and both times she was correct. She never believed they were anything other than that I think kids have such an amazing sense for this sort of thing.
