In the past China were N.Korea's biggest backer (and technically still are) but over the last 10 years they've been slowly distancing themselves from N.Korea. In 2010 documents leaked onto Wikileaks showed that China was planning to slowly abandon the country because senior politicians saw the country as nothing more than an "aggressive spoiled child". And the Chinese would probably have nothing against bordering S.Korea since they have very good relations with each other and they're among each others largest trade partners.

But you are totally wrong and you have a big misunderstanding of our Arabic culture.it is NOT true that a girl gets to know her husband only right after she gets married to him. We have a tradition where they both can "date" in the normal way but in an "engagement" form.
