+Hisanth “Heatburnser” Mahalingam Great question. The tissues were in poor condition due to radiation. By overlying healthy vascular tissue you can get improved healing. Thanks for sharing!

Quick question: Why is there never any bleeding when you open up someone's body? Is there a drug you give or do you cauterize, or is there something else?

+SledgeHammer98k Great question! We are trained to dissect in avascular planes and utilized cautery to seal the small vessels. Trust me there are big vessels around this that would bleed significantly. Thanks for watching and sharing!
