Itook the depo shot on November 2012 and been of it since February 2013...so far Ihavent had my period in two months after the depo shot idk what is wrong is it normal???

Jenna, i was wondering if you changed your diet after stopping depo? did you gain weight or have an increase in appetite? some women are saying they gained weight upon stopping depo... but i'm guessing that's due to cravings

+Ashley Turner I did not gain any weight while on or stopping the depo shot. I am very fortunate to have a very high metabolism. The depo shot luckily didn't effect my metabolism. Unfortunately, i did have to change my diet after. I have since seemed to have a reaction to dairy, which is usually what i eat most of.. so thats been pretty tough. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the shot or not. I have always had a very very big appetite, and still no weight gain. hope this helps.

+Kayla Christian Hello! It's Nurse Dani. It's very normal for girls to have irregular periods for the first 18 months after their first. Continue to track your bleeding patterns and talk with a parent if you miss another period. They can help you decide if you need to see a doctor.
