@TheMonochromeBird you can train a dog to sit, speak etc with treats but
how on earth would you get a dog to act like this in order to give the
reward? And i didn't say abuse. It is cruel though to make a dog act like
this as dogs often feel how they act and this isn't a vibrating mat, if it
was the dog would just shake the lowered head and tail between the legs
wouldn't be seen... I don't like it...
the dogs real (well not entirely, they obviously had to CG some of it to
make it sing, unless it's just a very talented dog XD) but the complaints
were because apparently they did something to frighten the dog to make it
cower and shake like that (something about a vibrating platform....I don't
remember). Either way it was for something really stupid and minor, the dog
was totally fine.
My dog is a JRT and looks exactly the same like this dog, kind of creepy
actually, and he shakes like that when there are alot of people around that
aren't doing anything to him, but after like 5 minutes it stops. He's a
happy dog and is already 15 years and i bet the one in the commercial is
also happy loving dog. All dogs have some weird habbits, doesn't
nesseceraly mean abuse.
Wasn't it Charlie Winston who did a cover of the SD group song? Either way,
I love this ad, some dog loving clowns (the same clowns who voted on BGT)
obviously kicked up a fuss to get it banned. It's a DOG ffs! Dog attacks
child and tears off it's face, little said, but dog shuddering on an ad,
big fuss. Effing dogs, who cares.
@absbch So what? Some dogs are shy of people. My dog is like that too and
it's not because of abuse it's because it's in a crowd it's never been in
before. People are way too sensitive these days. If that was a human kid
nobody would bat an eyelash.
@TheMonochromeBird it looks terrified, tail between the legs, head lowered
and shaking, yes it will have been trained to do it but it will still feel
how it acts and you have to wonder how they trained it to cower in the
first place
apparently over 700 people lodged official complaints about this advert
when it used to be shown on TV in the name of animal cruelty. Stupid cunts!
If you were one of those 700 people I'd like to say a very personal, fuck
you!
@TheMonochromeBird i didn't even call it abuse lmao i know what REAL abuse
is and actually i do study animal behaviour, and yes you can make a dog
calm by body language but to make a dog do this you would have to scare
it...
the advert was banned because to make the dog shake they put it on a
vibrating plate which some argued was animal cruelty! in my opinion this is
not animal cruelty, just people wanting to make a fuss about nothing!
This ad always reminds me of my pet whippet, Willow, who was the same
colour as the dog in the ad.she would sit in the front seat of my car
whining and I use to sing this song to her, bless her, where ever she is.x.
WTF it was banned because people thought the dog was being abused?!? I have
a jack Russell and she does what my family call ' the russel shake' all the
time, it's just something they do!
"Is that me? Was I singing?" Not paying for scheduled maintenance feels pretty good. No-charge scheduled maintenance, now on every new Volkswagen.
Ne-O Singing In The Rain VW commercial.mov
This great spot first aired a few years ago. Cool director duo from the UK called Ne-O. Song: "Singing In the Rain" Artist: Mint Royale, Album: See you in the ...
No wonder this ad was so popular. The perfect representation of modern day
women: living with dogs and caring for them more than they would care for a
man, lol...
He gets quiet, nervous, and timid everywhere except the polo bc it's the
only place where he can be uninhibited and truly himself. At least that's
the message the ad is conveying ;). Laughed so hard at this. If the dog is
happy in that pos polo, he'd be thrilled in a gti!
