Not sure sure if you're just being sarcastic, but...come on...this
movie?!?! shitty actor play, shitty and illogical screen play, shitty
editing, shitty sound effects and all the cheap jumpscares... You sure you
watched the right movie?
I have an idea for a movie like Unfriended, it's called "Anonymous" and it
deals with an unknown hacker/online stalker who's threatening and harassing
various people online, and he seems to know all of the people personally
and is sending disturbing videos and personal information to all of them
and turning them against each other, causing some to commit suicide and
others to commit homicide. The Power of Anonymity is strong in this one...
Sorry Chris, but Unfriended was terrible. I was only scared by that one
creepy scene, but the rest of the movie was terrible and unscary! 1.5/5
stars. >:/
What's funny is ... I liked how the shot the movie. I liked the
video-screen idea and I had no problem following the story. I hated the
characters, to be honest. I hated the characters and some of the
performances (I have a real hatred for Shelley Henning's acting).
this move would have been better if you saw them doing things outside too,
the way that teen do in real life. the whole movie was from the point of
view of a computer screen
+Dogenana If you were to go up to someone and say it like that, you would get dirty looks and no one would believe you.I dont believe you,you said "me mum has cancer nu joke".......That sounds idiotic.
Dude, making fun of cancer is not funny, my sister is dying of cancer, and she can't walk very well, she can't breathe at times because of it. It also gave her kidney failure. So Shut The Fuck Up.
Spoilers for the Jem movie: No Bagul scare at the end. Although, if you are
a longtime fan of the cartoon series, the movie may be construed as one
long Bagul scare, as the Bagul goes after children and that movie kind of
stabbed me in my childhood. But, if you like your nostalgia being turned
into a Disney Channel style film, I say two thumbs up..ish. I'm sorry. We
were talking about Unfriended, weren't we? I haven't seen it. :D
I find it weird that the only major critic who liked this movie was Doug
Walker aka The Nostalgia Critic. He also didn't like It Follows whereas
every other critic praised that movie. I just find that curious that his
opinion was the opposite of everyone else's.
I really enjoyed "it follows" it was a breath of fresh air to actually see a decent horror movie with a little originality I'm just so sick of what the horror genre has shitted out in the mainstream...B horror movies I'm more into now then I was before because of all the "paranormal wacktivity"(28th however many they decided they could shit out) , "insidious", "Ouija"& "the gallows" (luckily I didnt waste any money on that one) but "it follows" is great & sadly very underated.
can you do exploring - The Rocketeer i know you mentioned it in your JP3
review plus i just saw it this summer i wonder what you think of this
hidden gem
also this sounds like one those joke movies on a sbemail like "then saw this movie called unfriended about these "teens" who are played by 20 year olds and on this girl who was there bbf killed her self and haunts there video call and bad stuff goes down i woude love a film about a candy corn" or something around those lines
Hey Cecil I'd recommend the first two VHS films, they're both on Netflix
and the first one actually manages to do an anthology segment on this
pretty well. They're both great low budget anthology films and I'd love to
hear what your thoughts on them are.
+GoodBadFlicks I don't recommend, it starts off promising but I think because the movie had a larger budget than the first two it relied on it too much. It wasn't awful, the second anthological segment is actually pretty clever, but it seems to have lost the touch of past productions.
I really enjoy your videos man. You have some good points here, haha I
think I've been a little too nice on this one. Although in all honesty I
thought it was entertaining enough for what it was... But definitely almost
zero rewatchability value. Anyway, keep up the good work :D
+GoodBadFlicks I completely understand. It's kind of a shame we live in a time where big profit equals sequels, when it comes to movies. It's understandable, but it would be much more awesome to see 'em spend that money on another fresh, original idea. Because, besides the fact that this one wasn't great, it was at least somewhat original, and for that I kinda appreciate it. Then again, I have no idea what the sequels are gonna be like, so if they give it a fresh twist, I'll probably check it out :-) Cheers dude!
+Horrible Reviews Thanks! Nothing wrong if you liked it, I really wanted to but just got more annoyed as it progressed. I hope like The Purge they improve on the concept with the sequel.
What happened to "Good Bad Games"? It looked like it could go somewhere,
there's a lot of games that get a lot of shit but are actually pretty good,
the Kane and Lynch games come to mind
+GoodBadFlicks Oh...my...pasta...I love Jericho (game, show, and wrestler, none of which are related but it's a fun coincidence)! Played through it in a single sitting the first time.
+Negameleon Good Bad Games didn't end, they just take a long time to produce. (and now that I'm on a weekly schedule I'm trying to fit them in when I'm not working on whatever that week) The next one is tentatively Clive Barker's Jericho. If all goes well, it will be out in December. I have tons more I want to do.
Not trying to ruin it but I've seen the film and the ghost said that if
they hung up they would die so they couldn't just come off skype or turn
their computers off
