der eine ist auch nur mainstream also nicht großer fan aber findet es schon cool hin und wieder mal attack of titan oder so aber die anderen 2 jo wie ich mehr als anime/manga fan aber nicht nur haben viele verschiedene hoobys. :)

Hobeln ist jeder Art von Schleifen vorzuziehen. Kein Schliff reicht an Hobelglätte nur im Entferntesten heran. Die Oberfläche wird beim Schleifen porös und hygroskopisch. Lacke dringen viel zu tief ein und mindern die Obeflächenhärte und damit die Oberflächengüte. "Fein" ist das ganz und gar nicht. Wer das mal durch ein Mikroskop betrachtet, der schleift nicht nehr. Hobel gibts im Übrigen für alle Formen von Holzteilen. Auch kurvige.

Für leute die gelegentlich mal was basteln, ist diese Lösung am besten... Wenn man hobeln nicht kann und es sich erste aneigenen muss.. geht das so am schnellsten! Hobeln muss man ja auch irgendwie können.. oder nicht?! Ich finde das Video gut, grade wenn man mit dieser Maschine noch nichts gemacht hat! TOP das es mal ein Bosch Gerät ist und nicht immer dieser Festool krims für Profis!

Ich habe inzwischen sehr viele Sachen von Bosch und bin zufrieden, dass muss jeder für sich entscheiden, aber Festool ist eher was für die "Gewerblichen" Nutzer, die weningsten gönnen sich Festool, und die Firma kocht sicher auch nur mit Wasser ;), Mehr für die Heimwerker, weniger Festool, grade von Herrn Henn, der doch sehr für die Einsteiger oder Fortgeschrittenen macht...

Da ein spezielles Untergestell passend zum BS benutzt wird bleiben die Lüfterschlitze weitgehend frei, ab Min. 7:13 sieht man wie sich der BS leicht von der unteren Platte abhebt und nicht dicht aufliegt. So kann auch der untere Lüfterschlitz noch relativ gut funktionieren. Gruß Guido Henn

Super Video! Der Bandschleifer war nie so mein Ding! Schon in der Ausbildung zum Tischler sehr selten benutzt! Später in der Anwendung, habe ich keine guten Ergebnisse bei Fensterrahmen schleifen hinterlassen! Das Video zeigt aber tolle Hilfsmittel, die ich gar nicht kannt!

You are right! This machine is a 20 year old Bosch "green" PBS Model and it works really fantastic by now and the quality of this old machine is awesome - dont know whether new DIY-models will last so long ... Regards Guido

Für den Festool-Krims gibt halt nicht soviel Zubehör :-) Ich wär auch dafür dass HolzWerken auch ab und zu Bosch mal erwähnt. Bei den News steht oft was vom Metabo, Festool, Mafell usw. aber nie von Bosch. :p

die grüne ist von der qualität lange nicht so gut wie die blaue die blaue wird sogar teilweise im profibereich verwendet (aber nicht so gut wie makita, DeWalt,festool....)

+Alex Thomas You make great points. I agree longer distant travel by HS rail would not be preferred over air travel but a jaunt from say Chicago to Indianapolis or even Louisville KY, HS would be much easier. We will have to see how it plays out. Thanks for commenting on my post.

+glhmedic Its excepted by billions of people world wide. When it is more accessible and faster more people will use it. If I want to go from say South Bend Indiana to the Rock and Roll hall a fame in Cleveland it will be quick and more convenient to hop on HS rail rather than to drive to an airport deal with security, sit on a runway and possibly have to change planes. Given it time and people will see the ease and fun of taking HS rail.

I live in Europe, and though we have Highspeed track crisscrossing the continent, many of which are operated by state owned companies, flying is still the cheapest and most efficient way of getting from city to city. The distance from Berlin to London is 630 miles, that's roughly the same as New York to Detroit or San Fran to Portland. Average Europeans would only rail that distance if they really needed to or for leisure. An easy jet return flight for the distance is 120 pounds or $185. Why spend twice as much travelling a portion of the speed? High speed is only good for Journeys of 200 miles or less and most rural Americans live at a further distance away from a major airport than that. It's also not cost effective to lay High-speed tracks in rural areas. So it's not just an oil addicted society you need to persuade, but a capitalist, long term, money pit of an investment society. Rail travel is expensive, needs subsidising and rarely brings a profitable return. Look at how congress defunds PBS and Medicaid never mind Amtrak, especially if Amtrak decided to spend money laying high speed everywhere.

I wasn't slamming rail. I actually like rail service but wonder if in this day and age if rail high speed or not is going to be accepted by people.

+glhmedic Trains make many stops and would be more accessible to more people. trains are greener than planes. Though they use fossil fuels now diesel and electricity but the future of alternative energy could make train travel even better. The list go on and on.
