Can I run gta V?
my specs are
windows 8.1
1.83Ghz
2gb ram
Intel graphics
Intel celeron quadcore
PS I KNOW I HAVE A LOW SPEC PC BUT I CAN PLAY GTA IV HERE WITHOUT LAGS
Abraços man.
o que vc acha desse pc?
Processador AMD Black Edition FX 8320E
Placa de Vídeo VGA EVGA GeForce GTX650
Placa mãe ASUS Micro ATX p/ AMD AM3

casa.
E NESSE SENTIDO QUE ME REFIRO
Building the new Video Editing PC (Intel i7 3.8GHz, 16GB, GTX970)
I want to upgrade my video productions to 4K UHD resolution. But the PC is not quite good enough for that. Let's build a new one!
+DrCassette I know it may feel out of your comfort zone but.... Benchmarking is important to run when you first get your new computer build running so that way you will know what peak performance is and you should check it from time to time to make sure you are still running at your peak performance. Cinebench is a easy program to use and there are a lot of videos here on youtube showing what it does. It check your video card for frames per second and rates your CPU for all core computing and a single core test as well. No big deal if you don't want to but if your editing its important to be running at your best. I also do video editing and have been using adobe since the 1990's or so and own several of their suites. The machine I just replaced was the original i7 extreme that I purchased about 7 years ago. I am also a big fan of old electronics and have some real nice pieces like my 1970's 1,500 watt per 2 channels peaks phase linier gear
I bought my GTX 680 3 months ago, at that time I think it s the best. The
weird thing remains that the 7970 overall is very strong in the new and
latest titles. If someone cant accept that.. that is fanboyism. And if
someone think that new game like Sniper Elite V2 is optimise for bla bla
bla.. so why the fps will boost a lot if we SLI 2 x 680 or 2 x 670 ? Its
because it need a lot of shader power. Why Nvidia win with older games ?
Its because older games only need a super high core clock.
Big boys pay the electricity bills and not only use GPU's for allday gaming
;) to be honest, if i where just a gamer i probably never pay for a high
end card, anything in the range of an HD 7850/GTX660 is good enough to play
even in 1080p and in that mid range the powerdraw diferential between
nVIDIA and AMD is not so huge. Also you pay exponentially more for not so
big performance lead when it comes to gaming, but on the compute side
worths it because you can achieve higher productivity.
No, basically man i think i am going to sell my 7970 and go for the gtxx
780. cause nvidia seems to treat customers better. i was so happy with the
7970, but when i heard frame metering problem with crossfire, it just
showed how many corners were being cut. its bullshi, because Nvidia rips
off customers, but i guess i am going to hav eto pay the nvidia tax to get
the quality. fuck this graphics industry. hopefully intel kills of Nvidia
and AMD graphics companies.
Monitor's can't bottleneck I think. 60Hz shouldn't stutter if you are
playing at above 60fps. Here is something a specialist said: "A monitor
will not effect FPS if no v-sync is used. However, it will help if v-sync
is enabled, as you get over twice as many changes to display a frame." So
try turning of V-Sync. That way Nvidia is better with their addaptive
V-Sync. If they go lower then 60fps they automaticly turn V-Sync on and of
when it is needed.
It's about 5% slower (10% at the very most in the odd case), and as I say,
unless you were to sit there monitoring a frame rate counter, you won't be
able to tell the difference. A game won't be playable on the 7970, and
unplayable on the 7950. Save your cash and go for a 7950,...or if you still
decide on a 7970 - just make sure you don't go for the ghz edition. Such a
waste of cash when you can overclock it yourself. Whatever you buy, enjoy.
:)
This is very interesting, but how can l do that in games like skyrim that
have no option of v-sync? I remember l had to manage the system file and
turn it off from there, but nothing changes. So after houres of research l
understood xfire can actually give you best performance in high fps or
above 60hz. Im gonna get a new monitor anyway and lm gonna post you if
something changes or not just to informe people so they can chose better
than l did.
Nothing special about 7970 GHz edition, it's the new Catalyst 12.7 that
really steal the show for AMD. Original 7970 is perform a lot better with
the new driver. The bad news for Nvidia fans is Kepler perform really bad
in "Dirt Showdown" game.. the new game with new rendering technology. In
that game 7970 perform 50% better than GTX680.. wow. If more games are like
this out there than it will be no contest.
Cheaper? What are you smoking? and "if you can get your hands is right"
because they're never in stock. Truth is, 7970 GE beats the 680 on the
highest resolutions/settings in almost all games, and the (much more)
expensive 4GB version won't do much in that department. You can also do a
shitload more with a AMD than with a gaming Kepler, since their compute
power is utter shit.
Correct me if im wrong, but a single HD 7970 rapes even a GTX 690 when it
comes about computing power, not to mention that GPU acelerated computing
is gonna be implemented in next gen games incoming and that is allready
acelerating apps by OpenCL implementations. So it has become a more
productive and general purpose oriented hardware than nVIDIA's one.
I have to disagree. I think the nVidia guy bullshits a lot more than this
guy. The nVidia guy seems like he's guessing a lot of the time. Like he
doesn't actually know the answers and just rattles off bullshit to sound
good. On top of that he acts like a little kid at christmas which makes it
unprofessional. At least to me.
smoother and optimised ? Metro 2033 is nvidia's but better with 7970, dirt
2 & 3 is amd's but better with GTX680. in dirt showdown with maximum
setting GTX680 = 44fps, 7970 GHz = 67 fps, this is not optimised or not,
this is a disaster, I already wait 2 months for the fix and there is none.
Too late, l got my 2 7950 and lm planing to buy a new monitor that goes to
120Hz. They told me the reason why my 2hd7950 in xfire stutter is the low
hz my monitor has, l mean 60hz are not enough so lm monitor bottleneck!
WTF! Once l got the new monitor l will tell you if it changes or not.
7950 + an overclock. You'll never tell the difference unless looking at a
frame rate counter. If you still end up going for a 7970, at least don't
get a ghz edition. You can overclock it yourself in less than one minute
and save a packet (even more if you go with the 7950 ;).
AMD and NVIDIA really brought there A game with this gen of gpus. I just
picked up a 680 power edition and love it. The 7970 is probably better for
multiple monitors but the wattage difference tipped the edge to get the
680. This competition is great for gpus moving forward
AMD/Ati has the best performance - price rate. You can compare a GTX 680
with a Radon HD 7970. You pay $490 for a GTX 680 on Newegg and you pay $380
for a HD 7970 and 3 games which cost about a total of $135 that you can
sell. AMD has better bang for the buck.
AMD GPUs for price performance the best GPUs tel me one gpu like the 7770
from invidia in same price range and technology 28nm low wattage use 115.-
euro in germany in self price range from nvidia the 550ti and it sucks whit
performance and old card like 7770
Just google acheiva 2560x1440 or eBay it I have one and love it but before
you get one read the reviews as there is a reason there so cheap I was
lucky and got one with no dead pixels and runs at 120 hz but there are
plenty that arnt so lucky
It's a good card and great addition to the market, fanboys should suck it
and thank it's presence since it's some more stress on GPU market prices,
500$ for a actual gaming grade video card is madness to begin with, but
every bit helps...
Important!!! Don't ever try Crossfire! I can't really tell how 2 or 3
HD7970 performe, but l got some ugly experience with 2 HD7950,
microstuttering to death! Instead of better performance l got the opposit!
All those money wasted :(
coreect me if im wrong, but the gtx 690 is smaller and consumes less power
than the 7990, not to mention is the same size and doesn't sound like a jet
engine. at least, thats the story on the ultra high end.
New monitor is fine. Force vsync on in your GPU's control panel. You will
get much smoother, more consistent results this way, and the added benefit
of the physics not going crazy it will help.
Seriously?, youtube still won't let me post links... seems like everyone
else on Youtube is able to.. thanks Google :( Anyway it's linked on the
front page of the pcper site :)
