@Skellingtongirl2000 well actually, I didn't. You see, 'weil' sends the verb to the end, which is why 'ist' (which is part of the verb 'sein'- to be) is at the end. And I used 'dieser' which means 'this' instead of 'die' which means 'the' so yeah, just for future reference :)

It goes to show that this kind of learning works, though. Because I bet all of you who watched this at school will now never ever forget how to say "My favourite subject is English" in German. It's just a shame that's such a useless expression...

I cannot tell you how happy it makes me that I've found this song. I remember virtually all the lyrics from Year 7, we were forced to spend a whole lesson singing along to it - and it's been in my head ever since.
